Saw hat type boxes in Asda today, several colours and patterns, sets of 2 reduced to £2 something
Went to Asda looking for hat boxes today no joy
However, they have masses of gardening stuff reduced
Kids Garden Tool Sets 75p
Twist Wire 27p
Hose Guns 66p
Jeyes BBQ Cleaner 77p
Pack of 4 garden candles 75p (they are about 2.5" high and are mini steel buckets with a candle inside)
Mini steel planter pots 50p (again like a mini steel bucket about 5inches high)
Balls of green garden string 49p
Herb Stakes 37p
I think everyone will be having gardening baskets next year0 -
Haven't got an Asda within 20 miles of us...............
I'm doing a gardening hamper for ex foster daughter for her birthday next year.........got a lot of stuff for her already but bound to come across moreMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Mary was it you who mentioned seeds being sold cheaply somewhere?
I need some seeds now to go with the rest of my stash which I am going to put away and pull out end of Jan.0 -
crystal - oh eck............can't remember now whether it was me or not. Something was mentioned on the Greenfingers board I think and Woolworths were selling some seeds cheap but not in our branch which is typical. You often find them given with a gardening magazine but not sure this is the right time of year. Always worth a look in the newsagents. Could do with some myself to keep for ex foster girls basket
Try Greenfingers and do a 'search' on thereMary
