  • I didn't find any boxes  They only had clothes and shoes in the store, no bits & bobs at all

I'm really sorry you had a wasted journey, I'm surprised as my local is not a very large store and they have quite a few bits.

No worries, had a scout around a few other shops while I was there and had a nice afternoon

In H&B I saw some other great offers. They had (two sided) photo snowdomes for 99p - so got a few for parents, MIL and OH. I like the idea of calendars but still pondering whether at £3.99 each they would be sufficiently appreciated. I don't have a papermill near me so would have to buy on line unless I went past one nearer the time... My MIL would love it, my M&D can be a bit funny over things like that... OH? Not sure? I think the snow dome idea tho is less intrusive and would be more appreciated... (;) and is a quarter of the price - didn't weigh with me at all that:rotfl: )

    Anyway - happy bargain hunting!

I know what you mean about Papermill postage, it's a lot on top of the items isn't it. I don't have a shop near me either but went to visit my brother a couple of weekends ago and we drove past Swindon where there is a shop so asked the OH nicely if we could stop ;)

I love the photo snowglobe idea. I bought a couple a few years ago for the grandparents and they went down really well. Got mine from Lakeland and they were about £5 each  - 99p is a real bargain :D
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

The website doesn't seem to have any of the little bits and bobs my local has, it's a real shame, however they do have several things on the site that are not in my local

    I think that makes sense!

It might be worth ringing a store to see if they stock the storage boxes etc before anyone travels too far as the other stuff they sell is not great.

Yes the suitcase ones are soooo sweet, just like a small suitcase with 2 silver clasps and a little handle, I got a set of 3 pink ones with white dots on for my step dd, she loves them.

The watering can sound cute I've not seen that!
