Although normally a lurker here I thought I'd let those of you know who are making the sweetie hampers for Christmas.

Tesco every year for the last goodness knows how long do the big bags of swizzle lollies and their mixed bags of sweets (the pink and yellow bags which are normally £1.49 each) BOGOF at Halloween and they are dated well after Christmas so it might be of use to some of you.

I usually get them instead of Selection boxes for my friends kids to pop in with their prezzies.

Woolworths around the same time usually do BOGOF on their Haribo too so it's worth keeping an eye out round about them.

    Hope this helps.

Love the hamper cystalclear, it's fab. Can i please ask you where you got the 30th playing cards, would love to get some of those for my little brother who turns 30 in January. Thank you :D

I bought one of the Heineken style beer buckets in Home Bargains mentioned by someone on here. It is fab and was £2.99.

Also for anyone looking to do gardening hamper or bulbs in pots, Home Bargains had quite large packs of bulbs for £1.24 this week. There were lots of different ones - daffs, tulips, crocuses, snowdrops, others that I don't know the names of but they were pretty ;)
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

I got the playing cards in Home Bargains, they were near the Poker Sets and small puzzles, I think they had them for age 50 as well. The Poker Set also came from there £1.99. If you can't find any in your nearest store pm me and I will get you some when I go next week.

Biggest problem was getting the sticky label off the front of the box !
Haven't tried it on box yet, but would a little nail polish remover not lift it easily? Use it to get labels off new shoes and it works a treat
