Snap lol ... I need to print off a 2x2 photo of my children then I can wrap up my grans and that is another one done and dusted.
Problem I have at the minute is my laptop keeps breaking (screen not working) so need to take it back to Tescos and get money back ... however OH has seen a better one on ebuyer which will take 3-5 days to arrive  meaning I am 3-5 days without a computer as he will moan if I use the main one upstairs. ... which is where my christmas list is!
Crystal lovely cellophane, I have a massive roll of plain cello although I really should buy some coloured stuff.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Do you have an Au naturale? I bought some brightly coloured ones from there for about 50p each which I used on my fairtrade trays (instead of hampers) but they also had a brown colour and a black and also a red, any of these colours would work with black and white if you can't find just black or white. Also the bigger tescos sometimes have them.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
To pad out the bottom you could put in a new sweatshirt/jumper/dressing gown/PJs ie something you'd probably get them anyway. I wanted to get something a bit bulkier for my boys (my daughter seems to be getting bigger pressies this year whereas theres are now getting smaller) and i managed to get them a Dr Who (they're obsessed with it) sweatshirt each 1/2 price in the Next sale.
Oooh good idea, I have Pj's in the top of the cupboard, which I buy them every yeargood thinking. I normally buy my son new pants every year aswell ... normally character ones which he likes at the time ... this year will be great as I plan to buy my baby girl her first knickers.

Hi all,
For those of you who are doing christmas gift hampers, I have a few questions.
Im going to do them this year.
Firstly, How do you decide what to put in the hamper for kids? Obviously there are presents I want to wrap but which items do you think are best for a hamper?
Do you buy your bits for the hamper first before getting the baskets? in case it isnt big enough?
I know wilkos do some good small baskets but wheres the best place for larger ones?
ThanksAvon sales - C4 £1080 -

I find that smaller presents are better for hampers, although I have also done bigger ones but didn't feel they looked as good, that is my personal preference though. I have used a range of massive hampers to small ones. If they are for children then you can get chalkboard baskets which double up afterwards as toy boxes ... see the pictures above they are from matalan. I have 2 - one each for my children and so far have various things to put in and also more ideas
blue one - son
dvd
book
crayons
colouring book
marbles
play doh
door hanger (home made)
sweet compartment box filled with sweets
Pj's
Pants
socks
Small lego model
toy cars x 2
Daughter - pink
book
crayons
colouring book
sweety box
pj's
pants
socks
toy cars x 2
little doll
dvd
plan to use the PJ's to fill out the bottom aswell as the pants and socks, this was sugested by someone further up the thread (sorry can't remember who but I appreciate the advice)Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Oh Wilkos sometimes do larger ones aswell. Or Matalan, or home bargains, or Au naturale they all do a good range of baskets.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

Hello,
Thanks for that.
The matalan boxes must be fairly big are they? they look tiny in the picture but going by what you have got in them...
I just hope mine has pink ones!!Avon sales - C4 £1080
