Shaz, look at Asda and Tescos as sometimes they stock the sugary swizzel sticks, if not then whittards as has already been mentioned
Rainmac ... Thats a good deal, however yesterday I went to a HUGE! craft shop not from me, picked up a 25 metre roll of cellophane for £4.45 ... they have a website aswell but I couldn't see the cellophane on there but maybe if you email them they will point you in the right direction! Just to add this shop is fantastic ... all of the crafty bits i picked up yesterday are half of the price I would normally pay!

Now then if you live in Kennington, London you can pop into a shop on the Brixton Road (near to Mowll Street) that sells all sorts of stuff from fresh flowers to washing powder for a £1 - I always go in there for a mooch when I am visiting my bf. I was in there the other day and picked up some round wicker baskets that are about 12 inches in diameter for £1 each. It may be useful for someone who wants one. Sorry I cannot remember the name of the shop but it is next to the Post Office.0

It is probably about 5-10 minutes walk from the Oval tube station. Sorry but I never use the tube so I am just guesstimating the walking time. Its not far (don't walk through the churchyard either, stick to the main footpath - as you are likely to get mugged if you take the churchyard route).
You can get to it by walking along the Clapham Road from the Oval tube station and crossing by Fentiman Road and going directly down Mowll Street or South Island Place (the shop is between the two roads).
Darn it just remembered that Mowll street doesnt open out onto the Clapham Road, so you will have to go down South Island Place or even Crewsden Road (South Island Place is closer to the shop).
Sorry for confusion - I live in Birmingham and don't to London that often.

Hi moneysavingyvonne, your tea/coffee basket is simply gorgeous! I'd love to receive one of those and you're right, you would have to pay so much money for a shop bought equivalent. Do you have the hamper bug now??? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Glad it's not just me. I've got stuff shoved all over the place in our house at the moment - if you open a cupboard something is bound to fall on you! :rotfl:
Forgot to say, remember, everyone will get lovely pressies from us hamper makers and hopefully they will cost us a few pennies less than a 'normal' present and we have fun making them. Win:win I'd say!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
