Hogshead when I saw your hamper using a supermarket display box I thought what a great idea and today I re-arranged the contents of the notebook display box in order to create an empty one:rotfl: thanks for the idea - now I just have to fill it for ds teacher:D

Well done for remembering. I see them often & wonder if I am alone in shelf reorganisation :rotfl: .
Some pretty cool colours around too so maybe I'll repost the pic to remind people of the idea.

what cracking baskets you have all done....I gave my dad his early father's day present early last week and that included a garden pot ( poundshop(£1) in it I put bulbs and flowers (poundshop £2) a bar of choc (£1..local garden centre 1/2 price) 2 pics of his granddaughters ( priceless) and 2 cans of beer. It was so nice to see him looking through it.

Will have to have a go at dh basket for children to give him now and fil basket. Will have a go at putting it on here if I get the time and can work out how to do it!

    Regards,

No idea why but everyone must get cricks in their necks looking at my photos!!! :rotfl:

Chocolate body paint? A pic of both of them in a lovely frame? You could also make up a cd of songs that are special to them, and print out a picture of them as the cd cover?

hello everyone, not sure if this is where I should be posting but thought it might be a nice idea for a basket. Vistaprint sent me an email stating all orders over €20 for the next 48 hours are sent free delivery. Had a look on the website and have decided to buy a set of; A4 letterheads (10), notepad, sticky notes, pen and rubber stamp. All of these items are free, but because I haven't spent 20 the delivery cost is €8.66. I think this is worth it though because I took some time and matched them all up (apart from the rubber stamp), the design I chose is really cute with dresses and shoes but there are loads of designs. There is also a free fridge magnet, but that isn't appropriate for what I'm planning on using this for. I'm planning on making a writing basket (does that make sense?) Will get a small shoe box, decorate it in the same colours as matching stationary set, add some stamps and plain envelopes (the matching envelopes were a bit pricy) and hopefully it'll look lovely? If anyone is interested, the web address is www.vistaprint.ie

Hi eden123, I am absolutely no expert when it comes to the old cellophane but if my sides are short I selotape them to the longer bits in order to enclose the basket. Does that make sense?
