For those stumped for ideas for male hampers Boots have reduced their Hackett & Ted Baker lines. Lots of items around the £1.20 mark ( normally £4 odd )
These would make great hampers for nephews, brothers, partners, dads etc.
Also if you make sure you spend in £5 totals you get a till spit which you can use towards certain skincare therefore getting gifts for a girlie hamper for free.0 -
the car chocs were too expensive
....not very MSE..so am now thinking make a cake and plant a toy car on the top!:rotfl:

Hi this is my first hamper i have done!
Unfortunatly i couldn't find any cellophane to wrap it in bigger enough both ways as its a big basket!
There are loads of things for the baby and a few bits for the mum.
I had trouble fitting it all in.:rotfl:0 -
Hi, I made up 2 car hampers in buckets for Christmas. Instead of car chocolates, I put in a tin of hard sweets to keep in the car. I'm not sure what they are called but they are in a small round goldy coloured tin for about a £. I got mine from Lidls, I'm sure you can get mints or fruit flavoured ones. Or if you do end up putting a toy car on a top of a cake Tescos do small single toy cars for 12p.0

I've been away not posting for a while but it's great to see the lovely hampers are still continuing. I'm just having a bit of a catch up and looking at the pics. I just know the recipients will just love them.0

I did some male 'mini hampers' for easter--two were for car drivers & one a pedestrian.
I found some square boxes about 9" across & 6" deep in Wilkos, & used a large baccie tin for the foot soldier;)
They had:-- a tube of peppermints for indigestion
- chewing gum for bad breath:p
- paracetamol
- plasters
- disposable gloves
- disposable toilet seat covers
- safety pins
- small bottle of hand sanitizer stuff
- some tablets you can chew if you have a 'runny tummy'
- pack of tissues
- emery board
Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.
