Where is the best place to get the ribbons from for bows?

A florist shop or ebay maybe? I've bought some from ebay but didn't shop round to see if I was getting a good deal or not. I made a note of this site someone else on here recommended for bows, ribbons and other goodies - may be of help? http://www.flowerhour.co.uk/default.aspx.
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

I didnt bother doing easter hampers as easters not really a big thing for us and my family have agreed not to exchange eggs this year anyway. tbh i wouldnt have done hampers if we were still doing eggs as it wouldve worked out more expensive :)
Ive nearly finished my sisters xmas basket, (she's 11, will be 12 at xmas) its been so easy picking up bits and pieces! Can see myself going over budget though icon_lol.gif
Small teddy bear 49p (reduced from valentines)
Lipgloss set (gloss, balm and glitter) 75p (bought from ebay, 2 sets for £1.50 so 75p each)
2 trinket boxes 80p (5 for £2 deal in claires, so 40p per item)
Glitter hairspray 24p (bought in savers before last xmas)
Body lotion and hairband 61p (ebay won for 1p plus 60p p&p!)
Mechanical pencil in case (pink!) 40p (claires deal again)
Mini calculator (pink again!) 40p (and again!)
Purse and 3 mini lipgloss' set 99p (99p store)
Lipgloss and nail varnish set 91p (ebay, 31p plus 60p p&p)
    3 eyeshadows £1 (tesco)
    Photo album (pink) 50p (tesco)
Eye and lip palettes 75p (ebay, again 2 for £1.50)
Pencil case 15p (fab deal in claires, 2 lucky dip bags containing 10 items bogof so 15p an item!)
    Blusher 15p (same deal)
Handbag - Already had, still bnwt (originally 99p store but not counting it as had it for ages)
I think that comes to £8.30 so still under budget of £10 but by the time i buy the pink storage box (hopefully no more than £1.50 from cheapy shop) ill nearly be up to the limit icon_lol.gif I still want a few more things to bulk it out so will be a few pounds over, going to get a photo frame, body spray, shower gel and a bit of costume jewellery. Shouldnt be more than £3. Aiming for no more than £12.50 :)
My brother wants a harry potter sweet hamper for his birthday too so will be attempting that, thanks to the original maker of it! Me and my (14yr old) brother thought it was fantastic!:D Hence him *telling* me i had to make him one:rotfl:
Im also pretty much finished on my 2 sils and 1 of my other sisters xmas hampers, cant remember exact contents but they're 'going out' hampers :)

  • Ooh nearly forgot, anyone doing the flannel cupcake things, 99p store has a 3 pack of lipglosses with perfect round red/pink lids for cherries! They're marshmallow flavour or some have a mixture of marshmallow and orange pop flavours! HTH someone! :)

Haven't done hampers as Easter isn't a big commercial thing in my family, but the kids and I did some 'baking' yesterday to go out to the family -

I also did some little goody bags for the family children - a growing kit (where you can decorate the pot too) and a few easter-themed sweets (kinder egg, jelly eggs etc) - but I didn't photograph them.

    :)

Sorry if the picture is a bit big - photobucket's new software keeps crashing me out when I try to resize - will keep trying or pull the picture if it is a major problem to anyone :o

Thanks for that kbl :) Do you think it needs the memory card that's shown with the picture?

Really really sorry I haven't answered sooner, had some problems with my computer but all that seemed nothing when a close family member was seriously hurt in a car crash, it's been a nightmare of a time and it's only now I've had time (or inclination) to look at my favourite threads.

I would say to get a memory card that you can put your absolute favourite photos on, adding more as you see fit. At the start, I just used the one off the camera, but there are photos that I didn't want deleting but didn't want on display either :D . Hope this helps, sorry about the delay.

what sort of things are you putting in your chilli hamper? I bought a bowl and other things (not sure what!) in Boots sale and plan to make a chilli hamper for Oh birthday. He loves chillis..I hate them:rotfl: so I don't really know what to put in. any suggestions would be appreciated:D
