I'm thinking of doing something like this for a friend's birthday as she goes away a lot. I was thinking of:
Beach Towel
Book
Small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash - may be a wash bag to put them in
passport cover
luggage tags

Various hot sauces (ebay have some mega beasts
)
Jalepenos
Chilli Chocolate
Chill Bean Seeds
Chilli Flakes (you can get these in dead posh grinders)
Tequila Lolly with worm in middle (not strictly chilli but same theme)
Red Hot Chilli Peppers CD
Chilli nuts
Chilli fudge
I wont get all of the above but thats whats on my *ideas* list to date
just noticed that Lidl are doing "a taste of Mexico" theme from 31 March. That might help with the chilli theme - will go and have a look.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

The Easter hamper-ish thingies went down well thank goodness! The male recipients were impressed by the 'rescue tins' with bits like plasters & hand cleaning gel...
Think my next project will be my sister's b'day & either a sock 'bouquet' or hamper of some description.Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

I did a beach basket for my sisters birthday who is going abroad for the 1st time. Ive done pictures so hopefully you can see.
The things i included are:
photo album
beach towel
underwater camera
suntan lotion
sunglasses
deodrant
shampoo/conditioner
toothbrush/toothpaste
beneft makeup set
passport cover/luggage tag
bikini
hairclips/headband (in the little cups)
sarong

i think thats it!
heres the pic anyway (1st time ive done it so fingers crossed). I got the cellophane from ebay, the box from home bargains and i got little cellophane bags to wrap all the bits individually from ebay (it makes it harder to see through as it has flipflops all over)
