Those are lovely hampers earthmother, mary43, and nicki702
Looks, and sounds, like a real lot of thought has gone into them.
nikki702, (and anyone else lol), that swirly patterned cellophane's the same as the one i ordered in white, and the best I've used so far.

Hiya mary43
If my dd made me anything as nice as that I'd be like a gynaecologistworking my way in from underneath, without spoiling the overall effect :rotfl: iyswim lol
In fact, I'd work my way in from the bottom, select what I wanted, and seal it back up again - like a caesarean :rotfl:
She's away this week but has left me a parcel. I might put it in a basket and put cellophane and a bow on it before I open itOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

I know what you mean about flowers mary23, Mother's Day, our anniversary, and dd's birthday all fall within days of each other, and at times, the house looked like a florists lol, so I said 'enough'.I don't mind buying a reduced bunch in Tesco's but I'm a bit loathe to pay full price.
The dvd sounds like a good idea.
I keep meaning to treat myself to one of those digital frame things, but tbh, my side of the family's so small I'd get fed up of seeing them lol, but we do have some lovely countryside around us that I don't see enough of
Had something else to post (seeing as I'm way off topic lol, so I'll pop back
(Did take a photo of a finished basket btw, but when my oh put it on his pc and mailed it to me ....it nearly took up the memory on email lol). He's reduced it since, so I might put it on a site and see if it works on here)

Only problem with having a dvd of photos is I have to sit and print them out. I like to be able to look at them when I want to and show people............not so easy if I've got to switch computer on every time.
Still need to print off the last lot he sent me.................got photo album ready and waiting and then got sort of distracted. Maybe getting this one will boot me into actually doing it.
Have to plead ignorant and ask 'whats a digital frame ?Mary

They're like a picture frame, but you use it to put your photos on, and they rotate themselves (or something) ...display a photo every few seconds or however often you want them to) .... (technology's not my strong point Mary, but I'll find one on the Boots site lol). You'll have seen them all over the place, and on this site I'd imagine. And tbh mary, if I had to print photos out, I'd give up
(Just checked and Boots have just sold out of the Imagin 6.5" Digital Photo Frames and can't post the link up as it'll post up my shopping basket, and probably my name and address!but it's easy to find if you paste it into their search)

I'll have a look and see what I can find anyway. Might be an idea for son's birthday pressie this year.
I'll stick with the 'old fashioned way'' of printing them out for myself...........lolMary

They'd make a lovely present for a special birthday imoI wanted to buy my bil one, but his daughter had already bought it. I'd shop around first though
they're not that cheap, but I'm sure an MSE'er will find a good deal lol.
Right - back on topic
I'm not sure if you're near a Poundland, but I bought some of their shredded stuff. I wasn't sure what to call it, because it's more like astroturf than anything else - except it's a lot longerbut still has a soft feel to it.
I don't mind shredding my own paper and whatnot, but thought I'd try that as I was in a hurry ...and it's great! Although it's only in a small bag, they pack a lot in. I bought the yellow, green, and pink and although it won't work in every hamper, it'll work (and did lol), in the shallower type baskets. I tried the yellow with some yellow and white items, and it looked really pretty, so I'm going to buy some more. Well worth a £1 and saves a heck of a lot of time.
