Finished baskets!!

Hi
This isn't a massive bargain, and will probably be better for those of you that have lots of spacebut Wilkinsons had 50% off their teddy bears (cute lol) and heart shaped cushions (decent size too).
And a question if anyone can help please?
I made a hamper for someone last week, and someone asked for another one. Then someone asked for the same. I was totally unprepared (which makes me wonder why I buy the baskets and presents etc lol), but do you do what I spent a couple of hours doing, which was shredding lots of different coloured paper - just in case?
I ended up with some huge bags that I've barely got room for  Or do you just make them up as and when you need them? I guess I'm asking how you organise all your bits and bobs

probably as I need them but then
we dont have a lot of space to leave these
made up.I know what you mean about
storing the stuff for them I bought some
of these boxes in Morrisons for £1.99
they slide under the settee a treat
along with the left over foxes biscuit
tins all filled with hamper stuff.I reckon that
I can get 10 or 12 under there.:j:j:j0 -

Thanks rosekitten. I might look for one of those 3 tiered plastic storage units - and stick it in a wardrobeOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
we are in a ground floor flat
and storage space is limited
when I bought the kids beds
bought the drawer divan type
with the drawers facing the wall
I have them stored with stuff as well:j:j:j0 -
while I remember the 99p shop are selling a
pack of four scrunchies two regular ones
and two that have been made to look like roses
might be nice for hampers:j:j:j0 -

I bought this in IKEA they still sell them
you just attach it to the hanging pole
inside your wardrobe,it fastens with Velcro
once up you can either use it as shelves
or place the drawers in,it was not very
expensive and I think we boiught ours
about three years ago.I can remember
a pack of two drawers are 2.99
and I think the actual
body of it was around £6.99.
But it seems very sturdy and has
certainly lasted well I store my Boots
finds in them so its fill with some weight.:j:j:j0 -
Hot Glue Sticks £1.99 per pack of 32
Glue gun £4.99
I have posted it on the grabbit board link below but thought I would post it here too as they are so handy and the price is great IMO.

Have to say I think all your baskets are great, you are all such an inspiration I was prompted to do a Valentines basket for DH - he was delighted. Yesterday went and bought some more baskets and am trawling the shops looking for bits & bobs for Mothers Day.
I will try and take a photo next time.
Big thanks to you all - keep them coming :T:T:T0 -

My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
rosekitten - brilliant idea for storing all the bits and bobs.
My spare room is inundated with stuff I've got from the charity shops........four baskets are done but there's still loads of 'stuff' to sort out.
OH nearly fell over when I showed him I'd done a christmas one.............lol
Just hope no-one wants to come and stay..........can't see the bed at the minute what with empty baskets, baskets done and carrier bags of things to go into baskets ...............I'll be glad when ex foster girl, my friend, and my son have their birthdays (March and April) -that'll be three out of the way.............lol
Prices them up this morning -the finished ones
Ex foster girls birthday hamper ....................£5.30p
Ex foster girls Christmas hamper...................£8.00
MIL birthday.............................................£4.50p
Youngest son............................................£7.20p
Baby Grandson (Including toy box )...............£10.00
2 Retro sweet boxes for twins at easter.........£2.60 each
Trying to keep the cost down of it all. Not easy as I do tend to get a bit carried away. Also now got four wine bottles filled with bubble bath and whisky bottle filled with the same, all with labells on. Just need ribbons now.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

That hanging drawer set
is really good because
often as not different wardrobes
have different height interiers
this fits in any type of wardrobe
you cant see it at full length
bit it has six drawers in it.
In this wardrobe it hangs the
length of the interier but in our
other wardrobe it hangs long
enough to fit four drawers.
Morrisons do a really good
storage tub they are £2.99
or two for £5 in clear plastic
and they come in defferent
coloured lids,but the lids
clip in place and you can very
easily stack 6 at a time.
Over tie we have bought
storage tubs from different
places but these have been the
longest lasting
the purple one is one of the older ones
and the one with the price still on is
one of the newer ones. They are called
plastic tubs with a clippy lid
They do this size and a giant size as
well, but I have found this size better because
there are more places this size seems to fit
into.

One thing I really like about these boxes
they are ideal for storing fabric in as they
do seem to be airtight when closed:j:j:j0
