rosekitten- i have those 2 for £5 storage boxes with lovely pink lids. I store all my craft bits in them... my craft stuff seems to multiply by the day!0

Definitely have to get a hanging one I think. There's a wardrobe in the spare room for my 'overspill' of clothes (coats and stuff).
Need to organise my collection of handbags (one of my many weaknesses but they come from charity shops as do most things so they're cheap). I was thinking of a bentwood hat stand to hang them on but that would take up floor space so think I'll ask OH to make me one.........all it needs to be really is a piece of wood with hooks in and a shelf at the top fixed on the wall then I'll be able to see what bags I've got that are now stuff in drawers..........and I'll have some free drawer space for some of the bits and pieces for my baskets.
Ex foster girl called today and I told her I'd done her christmas one..........oh she did laugh................then she said she wished she could be that organised.................lol If only she realised that the whole house is more discorganised than ever while I've been busy shopping..............lolMary

you just attach it to the hanging pole
inside your wardrobe,it fastens with Velcro
once up you can either use it as shelves
or place the drawers in,it was not very
expensive and I think we boiught ours
about three years ago.I can remember
a pack of two drawers are 2.99
and I think the actual
body of it was around £6.99.
But it seems very sturdy and has
certainly lasted well I store my Boots
finds in them so its fill with some weight.
Thanks again rosekitten for posting the picsI wish I'd gone to Ikea today instead of Boots now lol, but I've got something similar stored away somewhere. I tended to put the woollies in during summer, but it kept falling down with the weight
I'll try and find it because it'd take the weight of shredded paper and all the other paraphanelia I seem to 'collect'
Poundland
Not sure if this has been posted anywhere, but Poundland have some cute little teddies in for anyone making Mother's Day hampers. They're really cute, cream coloured with a jaunty pink hat, and have a small heart attached to them saying 'Best Mum'(Not suitable for kids under 36 months - not that you'd find many Mums that age lol, but better to be warned just in case any recipients have young kids).

Hiya,
Im making a hamper for my dads best friends 60th birthday this Friday. So far I have bought 4 bottles of ale all with the word Old in the title and I have bought 2 bottles of magners (this is his new tipple). I am making chocolates in the shape of bottles and I am making bum and boob biscuits to be put in the hamper, I will put 60 on the boobs. I have also bought 3 packets of different nuts. What else can I add to this and any idea what I could put it all in? I have loads of baskets but not sure if these are not manly looking enough lol.
Thanks in advance for any help
Claire

Hello to all you talented people.
I have been reading this thread for some time and I think that your ideas and finished hampers are really fantastic. When I change job later this year (and hopefully work less hours) I hope to be able to join in with some hampers of my own but until them please, please keep sharing and posting your pics.
I found this reduced basket which might of interest - apols if it has been posted before - I did search but fear that being a newbie to this forum/posting thingy and still wearing my L-plates I might not have done it quiet right.

If anyone is thinking of doing a Spa/Bath/Pamper Hamper there are some great face cloths in Poundstretcher/Instore, they are various shades of cream and possibly some other colours.
They are nicely embroidered:-
pamper bathe
tranquility relax
Cost £1 for 3. Measure approx 31cms x 33cms
Also bath towels to match I think they are 2 for £2 but am not sure about that.0 -

Hi
I can't think right now lol, but if you look here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=7384621&highlight=beer#post7384621
you'll see what pookienoodle did as a beer hamper. I remember asking where the bucket could be bought from but it was given to them as they either had a pub? Or knew someone that did
Not much help but might give you an idea of how to display the beer lolOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Just a thought, but what about a little toolbox jobbie for the beer hampers? You need not close the lid---a lot of 'high class' gift boxes have a load of packaging & the top open, & I'm sure the recipient would prefer to find beer mats, coasters, etc than a load of froo-froo tissue:D Or perhaps a wire waste paper basket cuz that can be useful anywhere...or if he drives, what about a rubbish bag that fits over the headrest of the car? Halfords I think...I'll have a aquizz.....
Some ideas I've thought of to go with the beer:-
Bottle openers--at crimbo they did the character ones that talk & things, but I'm sure I've seen key rings with bottle openers on too
Those bath pillows in the shape of ladies appendages
Ditto bbq apron^^^
Nice glass--may even get one with 60 on it, or find somewhere that engraves
Those little jelly beer bottles that taste a little like shandy:p
Sorry...guess it depends on what you want to spend
And Thanks for all your suggestions on my survival kits...just proves that we can do anything once we put our noddles together:DFull time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Woolworths have some buckets in that would be ok for a 'male hamper'..........£1.47 and not a bad size.Mary
