I've decided to make male hampers, particularly for the 3x20 somethings & probably anyone else who drives.

I'm getting the anti-bac hand cleanser stuff, around 60p in MrT; flat pack toilet paper:eek: ; pack of paracetamol; small pack of plasters; few safety pins; some disposable gloves; pocket pack tissues; peppermints; "8um-stoppers"....tablets to help relieve runny tums:p ; small scissors; bin liners for the ones with cars so they have something to kneel on if they need to change a tyre or summat; maybe those black flannels; chewing gum; emery board; disposable camera.

Anything else you can think of?

What could I put it all in? I was thinking a smallish sandwich box perhaps, so it's easily transported.

Perhaps you could use one of those fabric lunch bags that they sell with the picnic stuff in supermarkets as you could attach velcro to the back of the bag and to the boot of the car to stop the bag rolling about :)

Or try the Kendal mint cake? Like this:

If you're near a Millett's shop, you might get a better idea of what's needed for these 'emergency kits' :)

When they had the sale on they had some really nifty ideas, so nick a few (ideas that is lol). They show real initiative when it comes to packing everything into tiny parcels - iyswim ;)

Something else I thought of was WD40 - you can even get pens with it in now but a small can would be good too. There's a website dedicated to the wonders of WD40, with something like '1001 uses of WD40!...' HTH

Just wanted to show my valentine hampers. They're not wrapped and boxes I made were a bit small but I think my family will like them, hope you do too.

Thank you very much dizzy, the two on the outsides went down a storm this morning (hubby and son) The middle one is for dd and bf and yet to be given. I did the double one because it would have been weird to give one to dd bf separately.
