I got so excited by this thread when I found it yesterday and I shall hot foot it to the local charity shops after christmas. They always have odd baskets people have donated plus I've got a few myself. Need to clear the spare room to store all this stuff in.................looks like it'll be baskets for all, birthdays and christmas. Its such a lovely idea and can be as cheap as you want it to be.

he is gorgeous, how did you make him? Is there anything inside to keep the shape?

Its a bar of soap inside him! He's gorge isn't he! His friend Trudy is sitting in my bathroom!! If you search the forum for "flannel reindeers" you should get the link to the website when I got the instructiosn from.

They are cheapest to bulk produce but rough guide:
    Soap: 20p
    Flannel: 25p
    Eyes:3p
    Nose: 5p
    Bell: 5p
    Ribbon: 5p
    Antlers: 8p

TOTAL 71P ish - but the more you make the cheaper it is!
