Hiya the chocolates from germany I have seesn some at a chocoholics party
they sell online to here:http://www.chocolate-parties.com/index.php?p=catalog&mode=catalog&parent=8&mid=0&search_in=all&search_str=&pg=2
but postage looks really steep!
so its probally better to see if you have a agent nearby.
The lady doing the part said they sourced from all over Europe including Germany so thats likley to be where they were from the also had the choc lollies seen in the hamper.

I know most of you are really organised and pretty well sorted but ... if anyone is still looking for items to fill some girlie hampers, I noticed up a couple of bargains in Primak today.
They were reducing lots of hand towels to just £1. All sorts - snowmen, embroidered flowers and some with Gorgeous embroidered on.
They also had some pretty hatboxes with four mugs inside reduced to £1. I originally spotted them as I thought they might make nice boxes for hampers but the mugs aren't bad either, particularly for only 25p each!
Also spotted some sets with a pink pasport cover and suitcase lock reduced to £1.

Did anyone else make hampers to sell??
I made about 20 in all. Some pampering with Botanics stuff I had stashed away and some foodie ones with stuff I bought.
I sold the grand total of 2
I went to a private party evening and to two local Christmas Fayres. I don't think they were overpriced at about £10-15 each.
I'm going to give the foodie ones away now as extra presents to people and save the Botanics ones as raffle prizes when requested to donate in the coming months (eg for school raffles)
What did sell were the hot chocolate mugs (made 4 and sold 3) and the reindeer (all sold made about 8) and the reindeer food bags (made about 30 and sold about 20) I was going to make more reindeer but I couldn't get hold of the cheap flannels when I went back to £-Stretcher
All in all I'm about £10 in profit on the things I had to buy BUT I haven't factored in the cost of the Botanics stuff as quite a lot of it was freewhen they had that promotion earlier in the year and I can't rememeber what I paid for it then.

My married name was 'Papworth' - it's not a name you come across often.
I made some hampers, reindeer food and reindeers to sell at 2 school xmas fairs.
I sold 2 hampers at one xmas fair - and got 2 orders (see post yesterday). I also sold a hot chocolate mug, sweet bouquet and 11 flannel reindeers (could easily have sold more of these). I made the reindeer food but only sold 2 packets - I've just given the remainder (about 8 packets) to my mate who has a toddler (+toddler mates). I only made about £20 profit across both xmas fairs.
I made about 8 pamper style hampers in total. The remaining ones are going to be used for pressies. The two remaining sweet bouquets are going to my kids (shhhhh! :shhh: :shhh: Don't tell them)!:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
If anyone is still looking for something interesting to use instead of a basket, Tesco have a pale blue suede vanity case with matching make up bag inside for a pound.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Hello again
I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.... nearly finished the last of my hampers :j seem to be getting some strange concoctions going on :rotfl:
This one is a bit of a strange one :rotfl: 19 year old nephew and his mates have competitions to see who can come up with the wildest drinks to drink at home of a weekend-think this little lot may give him an advantage
he has hot sour cherry, whisky cream, pear liquer, plum wine -amongst other things.. and the thing at the front is a belt with 25 mini bottles in... i may get a few more bits tomorrow -if i spot anything different
Couldn't decide what to put everything in - so as he goes fishing i guess he can use the container to keep bits n bobs in, or in the boot of his car with de-icer etc in
By xmasme-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
...and this one is for BIL - who loves his "munchies"
It was a devil to arrange..as i was trying not to crush stuff..so you can't see a deal...
it has different hot dog sausages n sauces in the bottom (he is an addict) peanuts and mini bags of jelly sweets also in there...then plenty of crispy snacks, salamis, and couldn't resist the 12 finger kit kat
have a feeling this will be kept at the side of his chair :rotfl:
Now just 1 to finish and some wrapping to do and then i have done :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Hi there keelykat
Don't worry he is possibly the most responsible lad i know... if i didn't know how good he is - i would never have got him alcohol..
He even has a breath test thing on his key ring -as he won't have a drop when he is driving.. and checks with that every time just in case anyone has tampered with his drinks :T ... his mum n dad have a bar at the bottom of the garden..so this lot will be used when he has his mates round for a cheap night in.. he is frugal too :rotfl:-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
