These hampers are lovely.
Piratess: I am sure your daughters will LOVE them. They beat any bog standard selection box and are filled with lots of lovely goodies that they will enjoy. I don't know any female that wouldn't be delighted with a basket of goodies.
Here's the one I've made for my OH's Mum...
It contains teddy, bottle of Tia Maria (her fave tipple!), Tia Maria Glass, Tia Maria chocs, Ferreo Rocher chocs, fluffy bed socks, leather purse, choc candle and shower scrunchie. It's a bit of a 'mixed' hamper, but stuff she likes or wanted (...i.e. the purse). I showed my Mum and she said it was brilliant and something she would be made up to receive. Little does she realise that I have already done her the following...
This one contains Polar bear soft toy, bath pillow, bath bombs, shower scrunchie, mug, hot choc, mini grate & whisk, choc candle, hair wrap, bath spa lights, mini hot water bottle, fluffy bed socks and shower gel. It's not her 'main present' as I've got other stuff for her as well.
I can't wait to give them!
I just wish I was getting something like this myself ...how would you tell someone to make you a hamper?0 -
all your hampers are absolutely gorgeous, just hope mine will look okay, thank you all for inspiration :T :T :T

Just in case anyone is after some inspiration for baskets, on Sky today (UKTV Food) Jamie Oliver is doing a programme about food gifts you can make to put into hampers. Think it is around 4 pm (ish)!!!0

I didn't do baskets this year as I'd done most of my shopping when I started reading all your threads.
I'm inspired for next year and I reckon lots of people are going to get themed baskets from me.
I intend to be a good girl and write out my lists in Jan and shop for them throughout the year.
Thank you all for the fabtastic photo's and excellent ideasSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

Having already made up my hampers and posted them already earlier on this thread I got a surprise the other night when I was visiting my nana. My uncle lives in New Zealand and is currently working in the Solomon Islands. He has made up a hamper and sent it over to Nana and it contains loads of luxury food items and wine! Glad I didn't do the hamper thing for her this year as she has received this one of items she would never think of buying herself, or that you can't get here and mine would have the can of garden peas and packet of rich teas in it!!! lol"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!
