I had asked what to get my cousin's two small children for Christmas, and as they hadn't really asked for much I was asked if I would mind getting them a voucher for a DVD or computer game. After seeing this thread I thought I would try and make it more "exciting" so done a "Big Night in at the Movies" Hamper.
I was quite pleased with it but wasn't sure if I was just feeling chuffed with myself so when I showed it to my son for his honest opinion he asked could he have one too so he must have liked it too.
To make it a bit more personal, I put each of the vouchers into DVD cases which I had made personalised DVD covers entitled
"Euan & Eilidh's Big Night in at the Movies"
Starring:-- Vouchers for New DVDs
- Two Share Size Bags of Doritos
- Two Tubes of Pringles for Sharing
- Four Family Bags of Chocolates
- Microwaveable popcorn (so it is hot and fresh just like the cinema)
- Three Bottles of Water
- Three Bottles of Fizzy Drinks
- A Couple of Cans of Beer for Dad
Total (excluding the vouchers) was just under £12.00 and hopefully there is enough stuff there for a few "big nights in"0 -
Gosh, your cousin is going to be very pleased with that little lot when she's only expecting DVD vouchers! Well done and thanks for showing us“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
