Poundworld (?) are doing small bath pillows for a quid
if anyone needs some 'bulk' in their hampers.
The cardboard sleeves they're sold in are a bit cheap looking, so I replaced it with a ribbon. Looks much better

I just googled it because we visited it last weekend and I couldn't spell the place where it was
It was Poundworld in Hull.
Wilkinson's (in Beverley near Hull) were selling Spa basket sets for £4.99 - same as Debenhams were selling reduced from £15 to £7.50 - doh!
M&S in Beverley were also charging £10, £15, and upwards, for just making up hampers that had slippers and scents etc (not included btw lol).
They weren't a patch on those that have been posted here

I am gutted. I have been putting together my hampers for ages and had to cellophane one tonight as it is being taken down to London tomorrow. I cellophaned it.....and then was half way through wrapping over the top when I realised I hadn't taken a photo to show you all:mad: .
The hamper was for FIL and was in a
wicker basket (£1) containing
two wine glasses (£2)
two mini bottles of red wine (£2.50)
Next mens PLatinum gift set from Next Clearance Store (£15 down to £7)
Small mens grooming kit (bought in sale last year for about £2 if that)
Small box of After Eights (49p)
A grand total of £15 and it looks fab - even if I do say so myself!!!!"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Tesco are doing 2 comfort pillows for £5. They are the Squishee style cylindrical ones which sell for £10 everywhere else.
I brought 4, great for filling the bottom of hampers.0 -
All these hampers look great but it's making me feel like my hampers are so inadequate

I'm doing a couple movie night hampers but all I was going to put in them were: a bottle of Lindauer rose; lindt assorted truffles; gourmet popcorn; and 2 dvds (no new releases as I know they have sky and tend to buy new releases themselves). The more I think about them, the more worried I get that they are really lame. We don't normally do anything special for xmas but I thought this year I might do something different than the usual wine bottle we give. Does anyone have any advice for me?

It's not lame, it shows you've put a lot of thought into it. It means they have everything for a special night in (and even with all those channels on Sky sometimes there is nothing to watch!). Have a look at some of the pictures on this thread to give you ideas on how to wrap it.........I'm sure they'll love the present. Don't worry.

Can anyone help me? I need a poem for my partner's pressie's. They are from me and the kids (I'm their step-mum). He's had a really hard time of it over the last year and just wanted a short poem to show him how much he means to us.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
