I joined last week bordercollie and felt the same but as the week has gone on I have totally got the hang of it. Your in the right place to learn, dont let all the abbreviated jargon put you off just ask.

Too right minxtress, and you've got the weightloss to prove it!:T

I managed to clear a completely full ironing basket earlier while watching 'the wedding'. Does that count as Body Magic?

Having a nice meal this evening as it's a Bank Holiday.

B: NAS squash, baked beans, HEB toast, teas with HEA milk
L: ham, cucumber and tomato sandwich plus some LO veg (odd but I wanted to finish them off)
D: roast chicken, roast potatoes, swede&carrot mash, cauliflower and cabbage, gravy (3?)
    Snacks: Shiraz;)

Hope everyone's having a good day (except take it easy, hope the pain eases soon. It sounds like a proper infection needing anti-biotics. Have you got a NHS drop-in centre anywhere near?)

Afternoon ladies -oohhh Im pooped -my ickle trotter are aching too

Whoop whoop on the losses folks :T,
Hope all those who are poorly get better soon!
Confused :T on getting "shredded" -she is good isn't she -merciless -but good :p

Well then -we went for our jog early this morning :D-and I jogged more than less time :j (hubby reckons in a month I will be running all the way ), then we tootled off to the golf course and got changed in the changing rooms -so that was another 2.5hrs walking (17,000 steps)-then we stopped off at the supermarket , then I did lunch and finally I cut the lawn ........ and now Im doing nowt else for the day - apart from making dinner.

Anyway on the way back from the lake I stopped off at that lovely Turkish place I like to get my fruit from (in my running gear:eek: ) and the lovely Turkish guy there commented in his best English that "ooohh you have so less fat" - "all my fruit must be good you have lost -THAT " and pointed to a full sack of spuds :p.... he then proceeded to wave a cucumber and declare "you soon be like this" .... I decided he was being complimentary :rotfl:

As predicted -my brekkie/lunch changed a bit *shock horror* so it now looks like this:-

    fibre plus (B)
    banana

    roast chicken -mayo (1)
    227g jacket (B)
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    peppers
    celery
    onions
    tickled beetroot
    tickled cabbage
    tickled onions

    6 plums
    sirloin steak
    salad
    *as above*
    250ml semi x2 (Ax2)
    activia (2.5)
So I make that 2A+B and 3.5 syns

Im now the "proud owner" of 56 activia intensely creamy yogs -after hubby saw them on offer and knew they are the only ones I eat :p... AND 7 melons -4 galia and 3 canteloupe after hubby came scuttling home with them -declaring "I knew you loved 1 kind and couldn't find any -but I couldn't remember which one it was?" :rotfl: Luckily I will eat both -but LOVE canteloupe -I did say it was a good bl**dy job he didn't get confused with water melons :rotfl: -so lots of SS for me this week :j

Right Im off to catch up and then I may well go and wallow in the bath
Have a great day everyone and keep up the great work
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

You have just reminded me - in the hairdressers the other day the stylist commented to the beautician - 'No offence meant but you don't look fat - you just look pregnant!'

I nearly choked on me coffee :rotfl:
    Mags - who loves shopping

I have been pondering on this since last night and cannot for the life of me work out what the heck your hairdresser meant! Unless you are pregnant and I have missed something? :o I have decided I have gone from pear to apple shaped, so maybe if I wait long enough i'll go to cucumber shaped :D I'd like MrsM's greengrocer to wave a cucumber at me :rotfl: :D oo-er missus that sounds a bit rude :rotfl:

After yesterday's little mishap :o I am trying to sort myself out today. The soup I made last night was yack, don't know how I made such a bad soup :o :rotfl: Am seeing if breakfasting like a king, lunch like a prince and dining like a pauper will work, so have had pasta & sauce (was rank, don't think I'll have another for a while, my tastes must have changed) and mushy peas for breakfast, and will lunch on something lighter, and dine on something positively wafer-like :D well, that's the plan, but if it goes wahoonie then at least I'll still be on a green day ;) Off for a walk now, then must get on with college work. Urgh, grass...

  • Hi all

Just stumbled accross this thread by accident! I didn't know such thread exsisted!

I joined slimming world 5 weeks ago on monday and have so far lost 10.5 lbs. First week lost 5.5 second week 3.5 and third week 1.5. Was really disappointed at 3rd weigh in as I had done millions of excercise so have done nothing this week as a test to see if it makes a difference!!;)

I have a whopping 10 stone to lose so probably gonna be doing the diet for a year , We are trying for a baby so this is my main incentive!

I'm so far loving the diet and can't believe how much you can eat although am getting stuck on what to cook! So looking forward to swapping ideas, I made the chicken tikka massalla out the pink book last night and its so delicious!:)

Well I survived watching the wedding without all the 'munchy stuff' ;)
I did get invited out to a free BBQ day down at the local working mens club in the village (my friend has just taken over as stewardess there)
Mr Dizzy was very keen to drop me off on his way to golf & pick me up at Tea time as he thought is was a great idea.....but I just couldn't muster the enthusiasm (or bravery :() to go out for the day on my own without him there for backup......same old story as usual *sigh*
Never mind, by the time Harry gets wed I might be walking on my own & feel more 'normal' so I'l go partying then ;)

Yesterday I had a green day, I felt the need for some 'stodge & comforty stuff' patsa bake for lunch and chips beans & egg for tea :) and a very naughty (within syn) malteser bunny that Mr Dizzy bought me to cheer me up cos he said knew I really wanted to go out yesterday - even though I swore blind I'd rather catch up on the ironing:rotfl:

Today I think is a red day

    B pineapple & yog

L eggs ham, salady stuff. satsumas HEB wmroll

T chicken/pork stir fry (five spice, garlic, ginger, soy) asda cheats veggie pack.

    HEB toffee weetabix oatybar
    HEA milk

Syns white choc options 2 malteser bunny? 9.5

    Morning all!
Well, the fajitas were made yesterday and to be honest I was quite disappointed with them for the syns they cost - 5 syns each for a mini wrap - I only had two wraps and felt like I could eat another 2 at least. Not worth the deprivation on syns for the rest of the day.

    Anyway, today food will be....
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - cracker bread things (B choice) and LC extra lights with an apple, strawberries and a satsuma
Dinner - stir fry veg, noodles, sweet and sour blue dragon sauce (2.5 syns for half a packet)

Extras - jelly (0.5 syns), maybe a meringue nest with strawberries, dollop of nutella? Who knows!

Hope everyone has a good skinny day!

PS Hugs to Dizzy and big  to your lovely husband for cheering you up!
