I thought this would happen when it was first mentioned last year. I don't think it'll take long for the Cashback to disappear, it didn't when Barclays took over Morgan Stanley. Good job we've each got a Halifax Reward Card, just have to find one I can use once we've spend our £300 a month each!!.0

Cap one looks favourite if you don't want a Hlifax account.
I don't like Barclays and will close it if they get rid of or reduce cashback.
Shame as I liked the insurace and warranties with Egg.0 -
I Am worried that we will lose all the benefits of having an egg credit card esp the 1% cashback :-(0

I have an Egg card and a Barclaycard, both have balances but I dont use either. What will happen to me?0

I'm worried about losing the benefits of having an egg credit card such as the customer service.
Have been with them since their early days in 1998 and had very few problems.0 -
Pity poor Egg customers the average interest rate hike is 22.9% on a Barclaycard. I would strongly advise clearing your cards asap and finding another providerBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

You'll have two accounts with Barclaycard. Unless they close you for dormancy before the migration.0 -

Can they close an account when it still has a balance?0 -
This is a worrying development. I don't want a Barclaycard.
I use my Egg card for all business expenses and that makes me about £200 a year. I also find the Egg Money Manger to be useful0 -
Personally I don't really like being "sold" to anyone. I'm not property that someone can "acquire", and treating me as if I am is insulting.
