Just had a call from DH - there has been interest in the house.
Viewings this week!
Excited!
MCI
Edit: First viewing at 12pm tomorrow :jMortgage Free x 1 03.11.2012 - House rented out Feb 2016
Mortgage No 2: £82, 595.61 (31.08.2019)
OP's to Date £8500
Renovation Fund:£511.39;
Nectar Points Balance: approx £30 (31.08.2019)0 -
2 out of the 3 couples who viewed were interested.
They need to 'bid' on it now if they want to move there - (Council System)
The company that will look after the rental are happy to put the lease together now.
They are not going to charge us for the Environmental Cert (this could have something to do with DH working for said company- yay).
All being well, we will have tenants early in the new year. Lets see how it goes as I never count my chickens...

DH made £100 from the sale of some more of his collectable cars last night.
It wasn't the ideal scenario as he's sold them to a dealer and made about 30% profit - but it's the cash liquidation that's important.
We will be doing another toy fair in January so we will have fun while making a bit of money!
Few more presents bought last night and going to the toy shop later tonight to see if we can get all the kids we buy for sorted in one fell swoop! This will be a big chunk if we can get it sorted.
Lease is being drafted for the house and we should have news in a few days as to if anyone has bid to move into our house.
Certs still to be planned in and probably a bit of work as we know for a fact that some earth bonding is required. Can't wait to get it all sorted.
Downward slide to the weekend now!

Sent DH down the rental last night to fetch the post - just had a feeling!
And that feeling was right - had a win on the Premium Bonds!!!!!! Only £25, but that's another £25 for the kitchen fund.
Going to have a paying in session tomorrow as long as the weather is ok.
Got my payslip yesterday (for next Tuesday) and we have been given the bonus - what a relief! Got to decide exactly what I'm going to do with it - but at least we can get one of the big jobs ticked off the list (like the boiler).
Festive preparations are in full swing - looking forward to having it all sorted.

Wow...it's been ages since I've been on here.
Wrote a long post yesterday, but I lost it  so couldn't be bothered to write out again.
Happy New Year to everyone - I hope you all had great Christmas's and I wish you all the best for a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2016.
Christmas was fairly quiet, DH and I managed to have a good rest once Christmas Day itself was out of the way - nice to spend some time together for a change.
Got to put a final figure on Christmas, but we spent a load less than we have in previous years - waiting for the credit card bill to come in next week and then I can finalise everything.
Quite sad to take all the decs down tomorrow (thought we'd have one last night with the real tree); but we are going for a meal on Thursday paid for by our 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p savings from last year and a £20 win on a scratch card I was given at Christmas.
£45 added to the Kitchen fund with Premium Bond win and 50ps paid in.
Also, got another load of 50ps to pay in and the interest from last month - which I will sort tomorrow.
Not very happy to be back at work, but needs must I suppose.
Looking forward to this year with a little more hope than previous years...
Hope everyone is well. Will catch up soon.

Thanks MWC
As far as we know, we have tenants - it's just a matter of paperwork - so still waiting! The guys who organise the voids were only just back to work yesterday - so DH will be chasing up if we don't hear anything back by the end of the week - but all being well should have people moving in before the end of the month.
