Meal was lovely thanks...
£50 added today - DH regular deposit.
When I decluttered that one small drawer at the weekend, I got rid of 1 carrier bag of recycling and 1 carrier bag of rubbish! Who would have thought that so much would come out of one small drawer.
Found loads of hair scrunches (very useful), the cash (nice bonus) and a part used cinema voucher (to be used on our next trip).
No where near as much done as I wanted to, but at least it was something (even though it looks like I've done absolutely nothing!)
Mum's carpet is being put down tomorrow! yay - there is a real hope that we will get most of it done now before her birthday on the 17th.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Happy Hump Day!
Sneaky update as the boss has gone out!
Mum's carpet is down - looks great. Will be furniture removing on Sunday!
Nice surprise in the bank this morning - NPower refunded £15.93! Totally unexpected - expected to have to pay them - have moved it to the house fund.
Also moved £3k to the HF from my dividend - the rest of the month will be very boring money wise after that deposit!
Busy week getting charity stuff done for our event on Saturday; with the additional curve ball that I will not be doing anything on Friday as it's my birthday and I am going out!
So all the baking and preparations will have to be done before hand. Chocolate Brownies and Mini Date & Walnut Loaves baked last night.
Roast chicken with all the trimmings for dinner tonight cooked round hm coconut macaroons and oat & raisin cookies along with my pie fillings ready for the pie baking marathon on Thursday (our theme is Pies as it's British Pie Week this week).

Happy Friday Everyone!
It's nearly the weekend at last.
Bit spendy today as I've been to buy the cakes and treated myself to lunch.
Finished the baking and the pies - 29 pies in all. Lamb & Balti Spices, Chicken & Mushroom and Butternut Squash, Sage & Quorn (with onion gravy), plus a dozen apple & blackberry pies. Just got to pack everything up in the morning - which shouldn't take long. So no cooking for me tonight!!!!
DH has bought me some lovely things for my birthday and also I pleased the report that some people have bought me vouchers so I can spend them on what I want - hurray - slightly less clutter until I want it!!!
We are going out for dinner tonight at an Italian Restaurant we have not tried before (new one) - looked at the menu and it looks lovely.
On the money front, I need to sit down and sport the spending diary for this week - but I think that's a job for Sunday afternoon.
Getting the hearth & fire from my cousins' for mum this weekend - getting really excited that she will soon be able to use the room.
Wishing everyone a very happy weekend.

Thank you for the birthday wishes...:)
Officially met myself coming back!
Not very well now.
The weekend went well - we raised a fair amount and sold out of pies! Sold over 80!
Nothing really on the money front - still need to do my spending diary - haven't had time or been well enough - but will get it back up to date soon (haven't really bought much, so not too behind).
Saw my baby niece on Sunday - she's gorgeous!
More work done at Mum's over the weekend - got the fire from my cousin and fitted that, plus brought down the dining room table from the spare room. Also, cleaned all the nicotine off the big unit and put together mum's new stool. The hardest job was putting the phone back on the wall - DH couldn't get a fixing, so if anyone takes it off, it looks like swiss cheese!

Hi Ed
My dividend is not from investments I am afraid - it's a share of the profits from the company I work for - I get this instead of a pay rise if the company is doing well.
No investment other than blood, sweat and tears! lol
Hope you are well.
