Happy Friday everyone!
Been really busy at work, so no chance to update until now.
£8 exactly spent at Herr A on Wednesday and £9 something spent last night. Relatively small shop at Mr T tonight which should bring me in under the £130 mark for the month (even if I have to get extra bread later!)
Still haven't paid my 50ps in yet - job for Monday now...Pay Day next week.
Charity AGM went well (for a change) - no re-scheduling this year and looks like we are going to have 2 or more new members (and volunteers), so all good there. Onward and upward with getting more money in this year.
Going to see if I can pop up the allotment in the morning - about time I did something there - need to check on my onions etc and see how boggy it is. Planning on buying some plug plants next weekend which will need to go in - so need to get a patch ready for them.
Having some time off the wine at the moment - had cut down drastically anyway, but just having a rest from it now all the Christmas wine has gone. Had my last drink on Valentine's night, so got a week under my belt already. At least we will save a bit on the grocery spend!
Re-jigged my meal plan for next week and got some nice things on the list - starting with HM Chicken & Leek Pie tonight using LO chicken from Wednesday, sliced leeks from the freezer and LO puff pastry from the beef pie I made last week.
Wishing everyone a dry and happy weekend - have fun!

Thanks Radish - I will check before I pay in - don't think Ill be that lucky though :-)
Didn't really miss the wine last night - had my apple juice and soda water in a wine glass to keep the psychological gremlins at bay.
DH wants the fish tagine to morph into a paella for tonight's tea, so will be trying some north African flavours in my standard paella recipe.
Take care all.

Forgot to say that I had a sniff of information about a dividend. We are getting one and we will have it next week!
But I don't know how much its going to be...at least I am getting one!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Just seen how close you are to your goal :j:T:j:T:jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0

Just seen how close you are to your goal :j:T:j:T:j
Thanks GG; feel a bit proud to have saved this much in such a short space of time.
And I am now another £20 closer :rotfl:paid in the 50ps.
This is goal No1 the absolute minimum I wanted us to save before looking for another house. Goal No2 is £21k - the ideal deposit.

Groceries stand at £132 - slightly over as I was tempted by yellow stickers and had to get loo roll!
Still no wine...and I'm not going to buy any when I do my big shop this week. I have bought 2 small bottles to go in this week's food, but will not be drinking any.
One step closer to £15k today as I paid in 50ps (no kew gardens ones unfortunately) - also paid in a cheque from Mum as I have to pay her electric bill tomorrow (it has taken Npower this long to come up with a final bill from 04 Dec!)
Work is still manic and not getting much of my own stuff done.
Tonight's tea is Tarragon chicken (or turkey - whichever it turns out to be) with pasta and green veg.
Wishing everyone a great week.
