This is a really quick update as there is nothing really to report!:rotfl:

Shopping list done. Herr A tonight. Then a trip to !kea for a few things mum needs.

Smoked Salmon Frittata (using smoked salmon bought at Christmas and frozen) and salad for tea - might pick up some crusty bread too.

Spent £10ish in Herr A last night - plus forgot to mention my purchase on wednesday - a whole £1.49 on some rolls and a can of soup.

So grocery spends are around £80 at the moment - I reckon I will spend about £15 this weekend which will include the duck legs for our Valentines Meal.

Out with the girls tonight round someone's house - should be a giggle. I am buying a bottle of wine, some soda water and some hummous to take with tortilla chips I have left over from Christmas - this will come out of my personal spends.

Got shelves and plastic boxes from !kea last night to organise mum's cloakroom. She keeps all the toliet rolls, kitchen rolls and loads of other stuff in there and at the moment it's all over the place and there is a big mound of stuff on the floor!!! So my brother and I are going to sort this out and get it organised. I am being let loose with one of DH's drills tomorrow - so wish me luck! All the stuff only came to £23 - so a cheap storage solution for something that's been bugging me for years!

I did treat myself to some new candles from !kea - think I spent a grand some of £5.50 on myself!

Sun is shining here at the moment, but I am sure that will change.

Happy Friday everyone - hope everyone has a great weekend!

Weekend is going well, getting stuff achieved but absolutely shattered.

The cloakroom at Mum's was a nightmare - took me and my brother 5 hours to complete.

The amount of junk was incredible. But we got rid of all the rubbish, (including hoover attachments for hoovers that we haven't had for 20 years!), have organised some of dad's tools - at least I have a fair idea what's there now and all the useful things are now in storage boxes. Spent another whole £1.50 on a plastic bag dispenser - so £24.50 spent and a fire hazard removed!

Was absolutely shattered so had to go to a friends after for a cup of tea and a rest while watching the rugby.

Tea last night was HM Pizza (without cheese), HM Garlic Bread and an avocado salad and well earned glass of vino.

£7ish spent in Mr T on Friday and a few more £coins added to the pot for savings stamps.

Had a giggle with the girls on Friday night and it only cost me a fiver!

Off to get my chores done while DH pops to town and then going to MILs for tea.

Busy week next week at work...need to prepare myself.

I wouldn't say under control - just trying my best to ignore it at the moment:rotfl:

Just trying to think about what's really important.

Another week begins - will be glad when this week at work is over (and its only just begun).

    Nothing to report money-wise.

Need to pop to the big Mr T near where I work to see if they have got the offer on the duck legs detailed on the web-site (normal Mr T doesn't do it). Don't think I am going to go out today though - raining again!

Tonight's tea is Salmon Wrapped in Serrano Ham with Savoury Rice.
(Salmon from the freezer - serrano ham from a pack I had at Christmas that needs using up).

Happy Monday - hope everyone's week goes well.

Oh, have you done the salmon before? I made it before Xmas, thought the ham might be a bit overpowering but it was well lush :)

Phwoar, fancy doing that for Valentine's night now :T

    Hi GG

Have done it with parma ham before - its beautiful isn't it. Only doing it with serrano as that's what I've got in the fridge.

Hope you enjoy doing the recipe once more!
