At least I've managed to do a few things so far.

Had a lovely evening out with my friend last night.

There is a good chance I won't get anything to eat tonight - so I had an extra large sandwich - really pushed for time this evening - especially as I dropped my prescription in at the chemist at lunchtime, then forgot to pick it up! So got to go after work!

So tonight we are at a Carol Service, then its off to the pub for a drink with my friend as she's 65 today!

I might be hoping too much I'll get loads done tomorrow night - but I will try my best - its all you can do.

This week has flown by, can't believe its Friday tomorrow.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Thank you everyone for the Christmas messages.

the £shop challenge went well and opening the Christmas stocking was eagerly awaited by both of us. Going to start earlier on this challenge for next time, to try and get greater variety if presents. I really had some lovely things for only a £.

I don't think I will be buying much shower gel in 2014 - pretty stocked up me thinks. Also won't have to buy any snacks for lunch boxes for ages either - so many tins of biscuits!

the freezers are full to bursting - so minimum spend for January.

Need to have a final total up of what we have spent on presents, but I am pretty sure its a lot less than last year.

Time to take stock and plan for the future.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying time with friends and family this festive season.
