  • Thank you very much for sharing the recipe. The supermarket beginning with M have 1/2 price pork shoulder at the moment, I know what I'm making at the weekend!

I hope the cat shows up soon. Mrs E's cat went missing for 2 nights and we were both wrecks. He eventually woke me up meowling at 3 in the morning. Now this is a cat who does not let you pick him up... I was able to carry him up to the flat like he was a baby :) Positive thoughts, the cat will come back.

How long is your energy fix for? Ours expires in 5 months and I am giving some thought to looking around. That said, there are penalties for leaving the fix, will need to see how much.

Still no cat. She has done this before, but not for about 4 years, got everything crossed and trying to send out positive vibes. Yes, 3-4am is usually the time they come back for some reason!

Hope you enjoy the pork. If you are doing a bigger piece, it might take a bit longer - it will eventually get to the 'pulled' phase.

I have done this method with brisket too - with garlic powder, paprika, salt and dried thyme - was really lovely.

The fix is until December 2014, but has no early exit fees. Have just done the same for Mum on her electric with Mr S Power, again December 2014 and no early exit fees. I'd have a look at the fees and see how much you will save overall - you never know.

  • Updated list above...still loads to do - finding it difficult to focus with the cat missing. I know its daft, but she's part of our little family.

Looking into financial stuff at the weekend, going up the allotment and sorting charity stuff. Aswell as planning to do a little more decluttering. We will see how much I get done.

Tonight's tea is inspired by Edinburgher...LO Pulled Pork and Butternut Squash Rissotto. Thanks Ed.

Happy Friday everyone. Staying positive about the cat:)

This might sound really daft, but I tried asking the neighbourhood cats for help :o

I gave them really specific return directions and pointed out how much their help was appreciated in the matter.

    Worked a treat!

    Ask St Anthony:

"St Anthony, St Anthony return that which is mine".

Ask Tilly - it worked for her :T. Though am liking Ed's suggestion :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Its not as daft as it sounds:o. Anything is worth a try.

I asked a squirrel yesterday!;) As I was calling Tia, there was a scrabbling sound which I thought was the cat and it turned out to be a squirrel; so I asked it where she was. No response:rotfl:.

I am sure that cats understand us a lot more than we understand them - even though it looks like they are ignoring you half the time.:rotfl:.
