Thanks megela, Froggy and GG. You are all so kind to me.
Spoke to MIL last night and seems both mum and baby are doing ok.
Was feeling really down in the mouth. Need to get focused again, hopefully feel better by tomorrow.
I have got to really as got a fundraiser the weekend - Macmillan Coffee Morning, plus other stalls for our charity, plus hot meals...phew! :eek:Good job I have Friday off work for baking and making!:T
Managed to sort the Tarragon Chicken last night, but got DH to dish up as my arm was really hurting by then.
Tonight's tea is HM Beef and Mushroom Pie - using up LOs of brisket from Sunday and cheating slightly as I've got some puff pastry out the freezer.
Just need to pick up gravy on the way home.
Nothing else on the MSE front - just waiting for pay day on Thursday.

Thanks for all the support yesterday. I had a pretty rotten evening, but I think I have got it out of my system now.
Made the pie last night and I am embarrassed to report that we ate it all (there was probably enough to feed 4:o).
Got to start the main shop tonight as I won't be shopping on Friday, so Herr A tonight and Mr T tomorrow. Have got to get baking supplies too.
Tonights tea is Chicken wrapped in Parma Ham.
Happy Wednesday peeps.

No real MSE news as wages have failed to go in the bank today.
No explanation for it - accounts did everything right and it was confirmed to go in our baks today, but didn't happen.
Will have to check again tomorrow.

Hi guys
Sorry I've been AWOL - hope everyone had a great weekend.
Wages were sorted on Friday - accounts did CHAPS transfers to make sure we got them next day.
Had a very tiring weekend getting stuff ready for fundraiser on Friday (day off from work), Fundraiser on Saturday (made £170 for Macmillan - and counting, should be over £200 by the time we've finished) and about £60ish for us.
Wrote a charity funding bid and that has been submitted - fingers crossed.
Didn't have to attend the allotment meeting - they were happy with what I've done - which was a good job really as it was bang smack in the middle of our fundraiser. Another courgette, runner beans and some blackberries picked. Beetroot seeds to be planted this week.
New guy started at work yesterday - reserving judgement for now - he does talk alot and I have a headache already!
So, finally managed to get some MSE stuff done:
- Leftovers for lunches this week, savoury scones, veggie soups and cake (not much cake left though lol)
- £23 left in grocery budget from last month
- Sweep of bank account split between House Fund and Savings
- Buffer in Current A/C maintained
- £446 added to House Fund overall
Tonights tea will be turkey meatballs, HM tomato sauce and pasta.
Hope everyone is well.

Haha... I've been training a new team memeber this week... also talks a lot (mostly non-work related). Apparently my mannerisms remind her of her sister. That was bad enough, she went on to say that was a compliment because she loves her sister very much.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

oh dear, that's a bit familiar for a new team member...
the problem with our office is that it's all men (I don't mind usually as its an environment I have worked in for 19 years!) BUT there is a lot of testosterone flying about in the sales department (my dept) between existing sales manager (only been with us 2 years so still proving himself) and new sales engineer (2nd day).
Watch this space - it could get interesting. Might buy myself some earplugs :rotfl:but might be difficult to answer the phone then.
