    Good Morning All

    Happy St Davids Day
    :j:beer:Many Happy Returns Nic1Lou2 :beer::j Have a brill day.

Redruby, so glad to hear about your Dad

Bitsy - good news about the cat, mine used to be like that, now she's old she doesn't venture too far.

Wet and damp here, but its now March :j and hopefully brighter warmer days are on the way. Had a bad start to the New Year so have decided that our New Year starts today - positive thinking all the way :rotfl:

Today will be a little bit of everything, essential stuff only in the office, washing on and just about to clean the kitchen worktops. Will do the little bit of ironing that is there.

Am waiting for a call from our truck dealership, OH is picking up his new pickup today - have only been waiting 6 months for it! He is asleep at the moment but will be wide awake as soon as he hears it is ready. Pity he will have to go to back to bed once we are home, I just know he will try and hide the keys :D

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but we are living out of the freezers to get them emptied so I can refill them again;)

Best get going, Mrs MH - hope you hear soon, here in Chelmsford you can log onto the website - my Dsis found her first thing this morning that her DS got his first choice & is going to the same school as my two - Good Luck.x

Morning all. Haven't had time to read yet today, so hope you guys are sall ok.
Feeling so happy!!!! Sat down and did a menu, including dh lunches etc and shopped to a strict list. I spent £95 out of this month's budget and will have extras as I got some whoopsied fish etc. It feels so good knowing exactly what is for each meal and to know that we shouldn't run out of food this month.
Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

    nnic1lou2, happy birthday- relax :j
mrsmortenharket, how does one dress up as a welsh lady?!
mummysaver & julie67, know what you mean about the bathroom rubbish! my flatmates are incapable of putting loo roll inners in the bin, which is right next to the toilet! and the empty bottles...
bitseybeans, i commend you for doing shred! it kills me! but no doubt it'll be worth it when you've got thighs like gillian :D
Did anyone see Australia's biggest loser when the tiny female trainer squatted against a wall and balanced a huge 6'6 guy on her thighs? He was easily three or four times the weight of her

    Happy st davids everyone.
It's looking fairly cold and horrible outside, just as well i'll be spending today doing assignments! I may be meeting up with Theee boy later, depending on how much work I've done by 3pm i'll text him yes/no. This is so studious and unlike me, I even turned down a night out yesterday opting to spend six hours on a modelling assignment instead :rotfl:
Not much OS for the rest of today, cleaning is done and meals for the week were batch cooked sunday or hm frozen.
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

Happy birthday niclou, hope you have a great day xxx

RR - glad being at home has perked your dad up, hope that all help offered is accepted by your mum, and that the day centre helps keep him stimulated xxx

I've found a car, yippee!!!! The one I went to see at a local garage was sold already, someone pipped me to it, but then I saw this one, newer, little bit less money and great condition, as well as much lower mileage! MOT expires in July, so chap is going to get it re-MOT'd and deliver it tomorrow or Thursday. Done the insurance online, and it's cheaper than my car at the mo. Only drawback is cost of putting ds on the insurance, so still car hunting for him for a very small engine size. Have suggested to him that if I pay for the car, his dad will prob pay half the insurance and he can pay the other half - it's so damned expensive compared to when I learned to drive and bought my first car that he's going to need some help. What do the rest of you do? I don't want to be too soft, but I also want him to be able to take over the driving to see his dad at weekends, so I would like him to pass his test asap!

And to keep this a wee bit OS, I was so cheery when I got back from the garage that I gave the kitchen a good clean! Now onto the bathrooms!

Quintwins - my lot enjoy pasta/couscous/bulghar wheat salads, lots of lemon, garlic and herbs in the latter two, and a tom dressing made from balsamic, oil and tom puree on the pasta, then chopped pepper, sweetcorn, chickpeas/kidney beans, feta, cucumber, olives, whatever is lurking in the fridge really! Pinwheel pizzas always go down well too, or hm pasties filled with whatever has been leftover, from curry to stew, cheese sauce is always a good one to use up this way too, just add some leeks, or potatoes and onions.

    Hi everyone,
Another cold & wet day here so no gardening:( although to be honest after yesterdays cooking session I have really bad backache so probably wouldn' be able to do much anyway. Don't you just hate it when the mind is willing but the body isn't?
Another 1 here who didn't do the dishes last night:o but all done this morning & kitchen cleaned, wm on & bathroom s/s done. Dinner tonight will be lo pork, lo donner meat & lo salad. Have got some big crusty rolls & some tortillas out of the freezer & found a pkt of sf chicken strips so DD can have them, think I will just put it all out as a diy buffet.
DS has been to dentist & has got his antib's & an appt for next week so he is home again today but will hopefully start to recover now.
Happy Birthday to Nic1Lou2 hope you have a great day x
Hugs spoons & Hi5's all round.

    jaxx
