Im a little confused.

AVG only shows then when you try to run combofix yes?

It doesnt matter, so long as AVG is gone (Forget what combofix says) then click OK to run it

Yes only when I try to run combifix.

OK I have done that and thats how im getting the combifix.pf, so how do I open that to see the log?

It takes about 20-30 mins for combofix to run. So clearly somethings not right

remove the combofix program you have now, download the latest version

RIGHT CLICK on it and select to RUN AS (Admin)

OK this is weird. I cannot find the combifix programme anywhere **confused** Will I try and download it again?

When I click the link you posted earlier it only takes about 40 seconds then I get the messages in the pics I posted above.

you need to find the download location

usually thats c drive\ documents and settings\username\downloads

remove the combofix file

if you cant find it then when you download select to SAVE and not RUN, but 'before' you save RENAME it to 'QWERTY.EXE' first

Its not running as it wont allow numbers in its name (not sure why)
