    Please run COMBOFIX
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
    Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
(If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)

I have ran combifix but it wont open the log as its not a supported file? I have tried word, excel, notepad, paint and fax viewer etc but nothings working :o

Is there anything else I can try to open it?

    Thanks

    Could be spybots not helping

Turn off Spybots 'TEA TIMER' mode ~
    Open Spybot
    Change Mode (Top) to ADVANCED
    Select TOOLS then RESIDENT
UNTICK 'Resident TEA TIMER' (Leave 'SD Helper' TICKED)

    Thanks

Edit - Ive checked all over my pc and cant see avg anywhere. I checked in the control panel/add remove and its not listed there.

AVG is almost certainly a BOGUS program (not your actual AVG antivirus)

If i could see the combofix log i could probably get it sorted

You cant uninstall malware (if thats what it is), it must be forcibly removed

When you state AVG scanner is still active, does the symbol etc look legit to you?

Goto PROGRAM FILES in c drive and delete anything left behind by AVG

rerun combofix (hopefully will work now spybots tea timers turned off)
