:wave::wave:hi ladies I.m back ....OMG you have all been chatty no way can I read all the posts I have missed or would be here till April:rotfl:

we had a lovely(lazy) holiday, weather was sunny but cold at night, spent most of the time by the pool apart from a bit of shopping(don't tell the clothes challenge!),spa treatments:)and a boat trip .........this was delayed due to high winds and when we finally went half the passengers were seasick(inc me who normally is never sick:() but we saw dolphins and whales(DH was a bit too close to the whales "fishy " breath!)
had a lovely massage and a rather strange treatment involving mud rubbed on my back followed by a very hot infra red lamp for 20 mins.

no time yet to catch up on the "glamour" mag stories...I managed to get two at the airport with the moisture surge and the mositurizer:):)could have got loads more but did not really need the gifts:A

also bought a bar of soap the masseuse recomended(she said it was cheap......14 euros:eek: and good for dry skin)and she gave me 3 sachets of moisturiser so a few ins for me but uu a clarins shower gel bottle and a john frida conditioner whilst away.

got to catch up with all the washing/ironing now:(

its silly I know but feel a bit guilty doing so little whilst away,we talked about going to the volcano and another island but somehow never got around to it:rotfl:....next time!

email from half price perfumes with a coupon as one of their best customers......STILL no reply to mine about where the points got to:mad::mad::mad:

hope all well with everyone...wll try and catch up on the gossip when I get a min

Nicci44 - Very inspirational - 10 years without buying - How much cash do you think you have saved?

If I had bought a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner every 2 months say, that would have cost about £4, (obviously the cheaper end of the hair care market!), which is about £24 a year – so about £240. Not quite as much as I would have thought actually!!

Just wondering if this goes any way to justify indulging myself in luxuries now … :)

Ooh, while I'm here - I've got a recommendation for deodorant - Dove Original Deodorant Cream (the one that looks a bit like a mushroom) as it goes a L O N G way. I've been using mine (daily!) since August and it is still going! I bought a new one months ago as I thought it must be running out soon. Nope!

Have had my sister round to stay this weekend and have been really good. My sister has decided at the grand old age of 33 she really needs to start getting into a proper cleansing routine so we went off to Boots and she picked up some Simple on the 342 and I wasn't even tempted to look at anything :j

I gave her one of my packs of cotton pads as we tried to get her some in poundland but I thought they looked a bit cheap looking and not too good so told her I would let her have a pack of mine so I have an out.

Have found a novel way of having uus. Have nearly a full bottle of bubble bath on the side of the bath, let your sister give your 2 year old niece a bath, leave her on her own for two minutes and voila one bottle of bubble bath nearly empty.

Have a bit of a dilemma. Am using a bottle of body lotion which I started the other day and, although it smells nice enough in the bottle, I'm not sure if I like it when I use it. The smell doesn't linger once I've used it but I just smell it when I'm using it. Should I persevere to use it up or should I get rid of it some other way? I know I have enough others to use but I don't want to end up wasting it.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010

Argh, bought four packets of Olay wipes cos they were around 90p in Tesco. Feel guilty. Haven't even got anything sputtering to make up for it!

Some lovely lists posted this weekend, I do enjoy reading them. :)

Went to BS to get some of those moisturising socks today, I was going to get some avon ones but the reviews said they were really small and I'm a size 7 so not sure they would fit. The BS ones are generously sized, hope they work as £7 a pair is pricey. Tried some of the hemp hand protector whilst I was there, feels lovely and smells of patchouli imo, very nice but £10:eek:. SA gave me a little pot of sweet lemon body scrub to try, already have this in the stash but this will be used all in one go.

UU Superdrug Plum & Cherry Body Butter. WIBA? Eventually, yes, when I've UU the other 18 or so body butters and lotions in the stash. It was thick, very very moisturising and smelled lovely. They do other flavours too and at £3.65 a tub its about a third of the price of Body Shop and half the price of most other brands. Very impressed, especially as I got it on BOGOF in the first place :rotfl:

FCUK Signature Body Wash mini is spluttering, one more serving left I'd say:D

I'm in a bad mood today as I had my 7 yo granddaughter to stay last night and the airbed I bought on eBay (allegedly only used once) was flat as a pancake within an hour of her going to bed :mad::mad:

Bev i've just finished exactly the same order for Muslin cloths. I've been wanting some for a while and wouldn't pay full price.

That's great lemon tree. I think the BS ones get quite good reviews and I have got so used to using muslim cloths I couldn't go back to cleansing with cotton wool. Don't know if I will use the LYB card much as I'm not sure you get 10% off on sale items and online you get better promotional codes around anyway. Seems like you only get stamps instore but I'm sure I've read someone say on one of the MSE threads that they took their online receipt in store and got the stamps that way

I opened the breakfast scrub yesterday and it is lovely. I'd recommend this and my fave S&G body butters are from their Spa range. Haven't tried their shower gels yet but have one in stash ready. Can anyone tell me what Clean on Me smells like?

Vicster your nails are gorgeous. I've repainted mine this morning and used OPI Grand Canyon Sunset.

Ooh, what colour is that VALM? I love the names OPI give their polishes! Do you have a piccy?
