I thought I would post this now even though I haven't got to the end of the thread.

I have decided tonight I am going to do a proper CTM but also use a face scrub as I haven't used a scrub for a few weeks and think my skin will appreciate it.

I have noticed a couple of people saying they don't have masks or scrubs so for you I am going to suggest doing something that you haven't done for a while that you think will make you feel better. Like I said I haven't face scrubbed for a few weeks so that is my plan for tonight, after I have changed into my nightie and dressing gown and then coming back downstairs to snuggle up on the sofa and watch Holby.

Good luck with your pampering girls :)

    Oooh, great idea to CTM!

I used a facescrub last night, and have a dermalogica toner I've been meaning to open for ages - I haven't used any toner in weeks, and I can tell the difference.

    So far I have:
applied Elasticiser as a hair mask
    OCM massage on face
    Shower/wash+condition hair

Now about to do the toner with the dermalogica stuff, then Clinique moisture surge (from a Bonus time, not the G mag :)), and eye cream, and passionfruit BS body butter, yum.

I will be very clean and moisturised, yay!:j

Oh I like this idea ruby - so I'll nick it :)
So far used - with used up (in bold):

Sample of Dermologica pre cleanse (on that facial massage youtube video) - lovely, now I get why people like oil cleansing. This stuff is RRP £31 a time - so will have to see if my skin has liked it http://www.jerseybeautycompany.co.uk/category/cleansers.html

    About to use:
Dermologica prep scrub/mixed with Clarins Extra Comfort Cleanser
    S&G body scrub
S&G shower cream/gel (uuurrrrggggh will that stuff never end!)
Timotei shampoo (amazing quality for the price)
    Regis hair mask
    Lots of hot water

    Then:
Clarins sample of Super Restorative Mask (skin looks dry)
Avon Rich Moisture face/hand/body cream (huge size, think EH had some of this)
    S&G hand food

And a natter on here :j
    Now feels better!
Didn't use the Regis hair mask but a horrid Boots coconut "intensive" hair mask (don't use big words you don't understand beauty companies) - and decided to use the whole pot up (well about the half that was left). I have long hair so it's ok. But the lesson is for me to not to buy this stuff any more, rubbish for my rubbish hair! (PS do you think I liked it??!!)

Also used up one of those Toners and Shaders things that was knocking around the bathroom. Meh its ok. Will see more when my hair is dry.

And drum roll....the S&G huge shower gel (CLean on Me?) thing is used up. WIBA - no. S&G seem to like their sweet smells. Plus it felt more like a body lotion.

All I need to do now is wash off my face mask and add some body creams/hand creams. :)

You know people will be able to identify us from this thread - we're the ones with (a) more cash in their pockets...eventually (b) glowing skin and a warm glow of a midweek pamper.

    What's everyone else been doing/using?

(Cough)(Cough) What's that outside, up there..look over.... I may have bought 2 more mags today. I used the moisture surge from a gift with purchase (debenhams I think) and it feels alright. Am racing through my rich moisturisers - I blame this cold weather/central heating.

Thanks for lynseydee for the nudge about using scrubs - I cracked open the S&G breakfast scrub this evening and OH used my Dermologica skin prep scrub - hence that's now 'farting'/'squelching' to an end :p

I feel quite tired with all this pampering so I'm off to watch QI on Dave and have a nice sleep :A

    Evening everyone :wave:_party_

I am a little late but have just finished my pampering session, went to the pictures tonight to see a preview of Chalet Girl which was good if not predictable.

Have done a face scrub with S&G which has started to splutter, used the last of my Urban Retreat mask WIBA no did not like the jelly like texture made me shudder when using it.

Have body scrubbed with my Sanctuary scrub, I do like this one.

Used my Blueberry BB from the BS, a firm favourite I love the smell.

Also micoplaned my feet and slathered them in Elle McPherson foot cream & popped on cotton socks.

I love crisps Celebrate especially the hand cooked vegetable variety

I had a mini pamper session. I had a bath with N-Spa bubbles, then scrubbed myself with a scrubby sponge and some Gok "Liquid Gold" body wash, applied some Scrub Your Face In It and left it on for about 10 mins, then got out and applied Gok "Deluxe Gold" body butter all over so now I sparkle a little bit and I smell delicious:p
I removed all my nail polish (fingers and toes) and re-applied to toes in Wet n Wild Blue Moon, a dark metallic blue after a nail trim. I'm about to go and file my nasty feet and rub in some Avon Shea Butter foot and elbow cream and pop a pair of socks on. I knew there was something else I wanted from Avon- the socks!!

Got my Debenhams order today (have already confessed to it :D) and in it was a 20ml elemis melting cleansing gel, I was one happy girly! :DI now need to avoid the Book People's free delivery code (That might be hard :o)

Oooh there's a free delivery code??????????? Must try and find it!!!!

I'm a bit late for pampering - but might try and paint my nails before bed. Been out shopping with my other half and DD1. She needed inspiration for her textiles homework so we went to look at wallpapers. Then went to Morrisons and bought a shampoo and conditioner for DD while there as she only has the ones in use.

Whiule looking for her magazine I saw the Glamour mag that so many of you have mentioned, but someone had nicked the gift!!

I've been a bt naughty, but since the naughty step is already overcrowded I might just get away with it :D Decided I like the colour of the hairdye I used the other day and thought at £1.99 it was worth buying another one ready for when my roots are showing again. Ended up buying the last 3 boxes :o so I've now spent £7.96 so far this month.

I had the Rich Moisture Face Cream which was a 200g pot - I think yours is double that size! :rotfl: I think I ought to put that one on my list to try at some stage when I've used up my posher body butters actually - for the price it can be had for, it's certainly worth trying!

Have just cracked open sanctuary body scrub and body butter....THEY SMELL DIVINE AND NOW I SMELL DIVINE.....what have I been missing out on all these years????????

Right i'm off shopping tomorrow to get some more...oops just remembered which thread i'm on, maybe not!:rotfl:lol!

sorry guys but i'm not sure if you are more of a bad infleunce than good!!!

PS how does this thread work again (for us novices)????
Do I have to use up all 2 of my old old fragrances before i can open a new one, or is the rule that you have to UU all old one before buying a new one??

"Use up what you have, before buying new!"

(doesn't someone have that on their signature?!)
Wow thats an impressive number of UU in one go!!

What colour did your bath end up with all the different ballistics in it? It must have smelled amazing!!

I have visions of the effect being something akin to what happens when you mixed different colours of plasticine as a child......!

Right - pamper session done - thanks so much to Lynsey for being the inspiration for so many of us to make a bit more of a fuss of ourselves midweek than we otherwise would - I'm just sorry that the circumstances were as they were. I have:

Cleansed my face using Clinique Liquid facial soap
Scrubbed with S&G Greatest Scrub of All
Used an Avon Planet Spa Moisturing Face Mask
Body brushed my legs and derrierre (well people keep using the word decolletage, I thought I'd get in on the act! :p)

Then jumped in the shower and used Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel
Out, dried and applied Body Shop Moringa Body Butter (Smells gorgeous!)
Removed old nail varnish with Cutex NVR
Slathered my feet in Avon Footworks Silicone Sock Cream and put cotton socks on
used Avon ANEW Reversalist Sterling Night Emulsion

Before going to bed I will also use Avon Dry Skin SOS handcream.
and Avon Dry Skin SOS Lip Cream

I feel thoroughly pampered and preened!

Trudij excellent news about Red but what a shame it ended up being twins - fingers crossed the procedure will go smoothly. :) Then you can prepare for the patter of tiny hooves!
