Forgot to mention the free Herbal Essences samples of shampoo and conditioner. http://www.herbal-essences.co.uk/get_a_free_sample/

Make sure you scroll down the page where you enter your address, there is a 'select country' drop down box that I missed the first time I tried.
I will run out of conditioner this year and I'm trying not to buy, so I'm applying.

I thought I would post this now even though I haven't got to the end of the thread.

I have decided tonight I am going to do a proper CTM but also use a face scrub as I haven't used a scrub for a few weeks and think my skin will appreciate it.

I have noticed a couple of people saying they don't have masks or scrubs so for you I am going to suggest doing something that you haven't done for a while that you think will make you feel better. Like I said I haven't face scrubbed for a few weeks so that is my plan for tonight, after I have changed into my nightie and dressing gown and then coming back downstairs to snuggle up on the sofa and watch Holby.

Good luck with your pampering girls :)

Right pamper night has begun peeps!

    1. I'm off to throw OH out of the bathroom! Have a shower and use an S&G scrub (breakfast one) and a face scrub!
    2. Then into my sweats/nightclothes and back on here to hear how you're all getting on.
    3. In fact I'll put on a face mask too

    Back soon :A

Oooh yes and there is a brilliant line in Pride and Prejudice where Mr D'Arcy (swoon) is doing fencing after Elizabeth has rejected him - 'I SHALL conquer this' ...(or something like that before you all correct me!)

Oh go on then, didn't need much arm twisting did I! Don't blame me if this post gets removed then..

So this friend - real story - is in the GP waiting room, waiting to have her annual smear. She needs the loo but there is no loo roll left in there so she pulls a bit out of the depths of her bag (we've all done this right?)

After doing the deed, the male GP goes from the patient to the bin and puts something in it and then tells her it's finished and hurries from the room rather embarrased.

The friend is a bit bemused at this. She goes to the bin and there in it is a STAMP - must have been caught up in that bit of loo roll she pulled from the bottom of her bag and you can guess the rest:rotfl::rotfl:!! :rotfl:

*sniggers* Julie that's superb!! Now, you are sure that this isn't one of those "this FRIEND of mine" stories that's really a little closer to home, aren't you?! ;)

Lynsey that sounds like a nice use of an evening! I think I'm going to join you in a sort of full facial - I was going to use my face scrub this morning but decided to wait until tonight!

PS VALM- sorry about your knee, could it be your age??? arthiritis kicking in???

Not sure about your bedside manner celebrate lol :rotfl: Knees feeling better but I feel like I'm starting with a cold. Won't be around for the mass pampering party although I have already had a shower since I got home from work cos I felt so cold. Cracked open a bar of L'Occitane Verbena soap because I wanted something zesty smelling to wake me up.

Another UU for me this am: S&G Flakeaway. WNBA although if it comes in a kit I would use it. My HG is the Spa Sugar Scrub.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Enjoy your evening ladies :) I'm just having a coffee before work. Managed 2/3 of the ironing. Had forgotten it was pancake day so I had to spend tea time in the kitchen cooking them while everyone else scoffed! I've got bit of a headache now so hope the fressh air clears it. Fingers crossed for an ok night. Dental hygienist tomorrow so I'll have sparkly teeth!

  • Have I missed the pamper party yet?

Before I read back and catch up, two uu today boots extract cranberry body scrub wnba as was ok but nothing special and s&g ones better imo, one more left in the stash to go though. Second one was boots extract cranberry body wash which good and wba depending on cost as these were courtesy of boots 75% sale gift sets.

Also three ins forgot to declare from Sunday – presents from my sister in form of conditioner, body lotion and body wash. Also today Clinique lippie freebie from that magazine that shall not be named, which is lovely and surprisingly suits me which is a novelty in itself as normally end up looking like a painted lady when using lipstick!
