One UU to report - Co-op Coconut and Honey conditioner - not great - I prefer Sainsburys/Tesco/Savers own brand Coconut conditioner (I think it's the honey I don't like - reminds me too much of the awful BS honey one!)

Hope you're feeling better soon bargainbetty!

vivh - I can hardly find any copies of Glamour either! Have to pop into town tomorrow to get my eyebrows done, so will have a look then.

Another UU to report today, Crabtree & Evelyn's free sample of Iris eau de toilette and body lotion. The body lotion felt very moisturising but the Iris was too flowery for me but I do like the products from Crabree & Everlyn.

On Sunday evenings I have recently started to make soup for dinner on Monday. Last night I did Carrot and Red Orange soup with chilli and coriander. I made this a few weeks ago and it is my favourite soup at the moment. I find cooking a good way to relax.

Oh Becky that soup sounds divine. I'm getting hungry now!

That foal is just the cutest thing ever. We had the first kittens of the year at the shelter this sunday too. :o

Our local shops have definitely re-stocked THAT magazine. Tescos and the small newsagents had the eye cream and both the moisturisers, and all the make up. Must not buy - must not buy.

Brilliant, the random giving away of the mags that people have reported on this thread! :T Would make a good hidden camera moment! :rotfl:
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I had to go to the post office earlier to send more ebay parcels and had a quick look at the magazine racks. Couldn't see any glamour mags. Did see a magazine which had a knackered cow lotion on it. Didn't bother getting it. It's £3.50 and I still have lotions on the go at the moment.
Very tired today. Didn't sleep so well and had a really manic night. Oh well, 2 left to go. It's a bit mad doing 2 weeks worth of shifts in one hit but I like having a week off at a time!
Oh well, better go and get tea ready...... enjoy your evenings people.

  • One little IN, as I went to buy that magazine that begins with a G, which I buy every month, really wanted the eyecream but ended up with a mascara as it was the last one on the shelf but if I do spot it, I'm going to buy another one, naughty me :D

Also, after having a flick through the magazine, I subscribed to the 6 month offer for £3, so will have a future IN of the Caudalie cream and possibly another Clinique product depending on whether they send me this months!

I have another splutter with Biore Shine Control moisturiser WNBA as it doesn't really do what it promises. I need a new moisturiser and have been using a Boots P+P sample, so may end up doing 3 for 2 with day cream, night cream and something else that takes my fancy.

This is going to be my naughty month as it was my birthday yesterday, so have to go to Bodyshop and get my gifts and spend 2 of the Groupon vouchers.

Wow, I leave my internet for a weekend and come back to find the MSE equivalent of War and Peace to read! :)

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I started listing my stash - It took quite a while... I'm well into the 400s of products, and I still haven't listed all the gift sets I have hiding in a cupboard... or the stash at my boyfriends... or my parents... or my desk at work...

I think the shock value is definitely working and I'm feeling slightly sick at the amount I have. I'm not sure if it's because I feel greedy at having so much, or how much I've spent if I added it all up, or just that it's taking up soooo much space in my box of a studio! Maybe a bit of all three and then some. My home internet is down at the moment so will finish off my list later and post it when I can. I think my next step is to have a good look through, and figure out what can be used at presents, what can perhaps be ebayed, and what could be donated to friends/give and makeup etc...

Anyway, on a happy note - I HAVE to get my stash down to a more reasonable size... because my lovely lovely boyfriend has asked me to move in with him! :j:D:j:beer: It won't happen for a few months as he's Australian and we're waiting for his work to sort out his new work visa (so being sensible and waiting in case he gets deported!!) But I think he might die of shock being surrounded by quite so many girly toiletries when we have our own place!

So, I think that's my challenge and aim - to declutter by the summer (and of course not by anything unneccesary and new as well!)

If you're looking for a shine control moisturiser - I really like the Asda Young Skin Matt Finish moisturiser (£1.03) and the BS seaweed mattifying moisturiser has had good reviews on this thread too.

I thought I had a UU earlier, I was so excited! It was a hair serum that has been going for YEARS! But just as I thought it was finished it spluttered out some more! Darn it!
