Tbh it's meant to have a bit of self tan in, but I'm still as pale as snow, so doesn't really work. I think I picked up 2 tubes for £1 in TK Maxx so wouldn't buy it again.
I've got that as well and found it's pretty pale, can't see any signs of it working!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Its been nice to see that others think the same as I do about the Glamour mag stuff. My hubby thought I was a bit nuts when I said what a treat it was to have some nice stuff!
UU's today 2 sachets of Palmers Cocoa butter cream, 1 sachet of Nivea bio slim and a small sample tube of Elemis body cream which had gone a bit manky but was ok once rubbed in.0 -
I wouldn't dare even list my make up, we'd be here for the next year! Mum just bought me a new 8 drawer unit from Staples for my bathroom and my makeup fills it. I started counting and once I'd got to 40 MAC eye shadows at £10 each, I had to have a cup of tea and a sit down0

Welcome brighthair - as you've probably gathered, you are in the right place for lots of caring, mutual support (plus most of us are just a bit nosey...).

Just back from a trip up to Silverburn on a reci to Next Home to see what my £15 gift voucher will get me. Answer - not much!! Gonna wait for the sale.
But whilst I was out and about I popped into Debs to use my freebie voucher for Lancome 7 day trial of foundation. So one really tiny in for me.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Welcome all Newbies :hello: March has been a good month for Newbies so far
:D
I also used my new BS Rainforest Shampoo & Conditioner in the hope that it would stop my red colour from fading so much. By the end of it I was sitting in pink water so I don't think its working out.
What sort of red is it? Mine was pillar box red last year and a tip I was given was to add a little of the dye to my shampoo when I washed my hair and it would keep it's colour longer - but that was a 'Directions' semi-permanant dye not a 'shake-to-mix' dye as I'm not sure you could do it with them.
Not sure I've made much sense there? I can re-explain if neededbohemianrose9 wrote: »Btw, Sarah a - Clean Mary is included in one of the S&G bundles on the Boots site. I'm wondering if that means that they're discontinuing it...
I saw that bundle - I'm tempted but cannot afford itI really hope they are not discontinuing but it does look like it maybe that
chucknorris69 wrote: »Do you mean the s&g one? If so I have a tube you can have, used it about twice I think. Just pm your address if it is the one your after.
I have PM'd you honey :lovethougBut does anyone else have a bit of a comfort buying problem, or is it more hoarding good bargains etc for you guys?
Alternatively, do you just get distracted by sparkly pretty things?
I'm a combination of good bargains and distracted by sparkly pretty things - I don't comfort buy I comfort eat:rotfl:

My DD uses tippex on er nails when she runs out of white nailpolish :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Vivh - hope you feel better soon - Tonsilitis is awfulI suffered for years before I finally had mine out
Not really sure what to do. I know I couldn't hack going cold turkey.
Any advice appreciated:) Sorry I know this is a no buying toiletries not a no shopping general thread (but i have spent hundreds on toiletries recently hope i qualify!!)
Welcome and {{HUGS}}Hi celebrate :hello:. Your post sounds like a real cry for help....
<snipped for length>
Totally second all of Kaz's post and what the other ladies have said. I especially second the sorting some out as gifts. Write a list of who you need to buy for throughout the year (birthday/xmas/mother's day/etc) and sort through your stash and allocate what you think suits each receipient. Keep a list of what you've bought so you don't double buy.
Good Luck and try to remember the MSE Mantra: Do I NEED it? Will I USE it? if the answer is NO put it backmcculloch29 wrote: »You may use substantially more shower gel than me - I know my son does - or far more shampoo. Any thoughts?
I use a fairly small amount of shampoo but loads of conditioner - at least two bottles for every bottle of shampoo - makes 3for2's useful :rotfl:
I've mentioned OH's bubble bath useage before - this week he used an entire box of Radox Moistur Soak Bath Salts in 4 baths  I've told him I'm not buying anymore bubbles until what we have is used up. I've given him a 500ml bottle of N-spa lovely chocolate to use but he doesn't like the smell so I've emptied 3 mini tubes of M&S showergel into the bottle to make it more citrussy
It'll be gone in a fortnight :rotfl:Dr_Roberto wrote: »Paris Hilton - Fairy dust perfume - smells amazing my new favourite and my friend who bought it new I only had 4 perfumes in my stash :P
Love this perfume - one of my two on the go at the moment
UU's
Avon Renew 24 hour Eye Gel/Cream: WIBA? No. I liked the night gel but not the day cream. I must have got it as GWP because I wouldn't have bought it myself
Models Secret Toffee Hair Sauna (x 4 Sachets): WIBA? Yes if I ever found itGot it for 10p a sachet from Home Bargains - I needed two a time for my hair but it made it lovely a soft. Very weird when it self heated but smelt fantastic!
3 Mini Tubes M&S Showergel: WIBA? It's just showergel - nothing special
IN's - 3 Small tubs of Balm Balm for £2 in the Lloyds 3for1 promotion. I'm only claiming £1 of this to my total as I had gone in to get a small tin of vaseline for the dogs paws as advised by my vet (she's got really dry pads and they keep shearing off if she runs too fast - ie: all the time) and this was a bargain I couldn't turn down. One for the dog and two for me :rotfl:
No splutterers at the moment so might be a quiet week for me0 -

Oh the poor girl! That must be so painful for her. Hope she doesn't lick it off, or you will be back to square 1.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
