    Hello everyone :j

I have been quite good today - feel like I am finally makng some progress in this challenge! Went for lunch with friends and then shopping :T.

I didn't even go into Boots, Savers, Bodyshop or Superdrug! In fairness this was partly because I had left all my vouchers at home in my other bag ;).

We went into £1land because my 'aunt' had NEVER been in there!!! I bought 3 sponges in a pack and a 'bog' brush :rotfl:l. Then Wilkos where I got a back scrubber for £2 and one item for the pets £1.25 - have fancied a back scrub since I got my lovely new S&G/BS scrubs at Christmas but they are a bit pricey elsewhere - not counting as INs because they aren't products, right??

My boyf looked at me like I was mad when I started look at the cut priced hand creams so I quickly left that area.
    :)

Just looked at your make up stash Dr Roberto - I don't even know what some of those items are - you have 45 of something???!! Phew!!

spell eye shadows are individual pigments from an American company and yes 45 little tubs of them , i have most colours they ever came out with.

I have another UU to report - a Next 'magical' body lotion - it is one I have honestly had for years so I am glad to see the back off it now. On to a Boots one.

I really enjoy this challenge - partly because I have numerous products which are all part finished - I do not know why I never seem to finish them - so this is a great way to reduce my number of part finished bottles.

Happy Sunday afternoon everyone - especially Celebrate - hope you are feeling a bit better about the whole situation now! xxx

Since doing this challenge I have really thought hard about why I buy! I think it is partly because I get bored with using a product before it is finished and then end up with lots of half used stuff.

I need to finish all the half used up bits before I go onto the next one - which is proving hard. I would like to have maybe 2 things on the go at the same time so that I can swap between the 2 if I get bored.

Hope that makes sense - I must get my act together and really sort out my stash so that I can use up all my partly used stuff.

Also - I do gift some of my stuff as I simply could not use it all up :rotfl:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

Not heard of these - so do you use them to mix up whatever colour you fancy?

I guess you're ok for make up for a while then......
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I get bored of stuff as well , body lotion esp , the smell gets boring so you need to move on to something else or if you buy something new you want to try it right away...:rotfl:

no , as they are all diff colours anyway. most eyeshadows come as a solid but these are loose . like mac pigments or barry m dazzle pots.

  • Ooops found a body butter that I had forgotten about in the back of a draw today - half used :/

I think I paid about a pound for it as it's from the Austrailian Organic company and free from all nasty stuff, I slathered myself in it earlier buts it's quite runny. Will use up this and get on to my nice BS bodybutter remembering PRCP.

Oh the poor girl! That must be so painful for her. Hope she doesn't lick it off, or you will be back to square 1.

Thanks hun - she doesn't seem that bothered by it. Usually it's just her high pads (sort of where her wrists would be :p) and she barely notices those but occasionally she does her front paw bit and then she has a bit of a lick and does some sympathy limping (stops when we get out the front door to go for a week :rotfl:).

We have some fab hot pink vet bandages to use for the first day or so - makes her look like she should be starring in 'Fame' :rotfl:

Thankfully she likes the attention so will let me sit and massage it in - if it was the other one it would be a complete nightmare as he won't let anyone touch his feet :p

No Ins today (as anticipated - even forgot the nail lacquer remover when I was in Sainsbury's) but one UU: My beloved L'occitane Lavender hand cream. MrM said he may treat me to a tube tomorrow though YAY! It's ok though cos I only have a spluttering S&G Hand Food on the go. In my stash I have an opened tube of Philosophy Amazing Grace, two 5ml tubes of L'occitane shea butter hand cream and a small bottle of OPI Avojuice. The Philosophy and L'Occitane ones are going to be relegated to foot creams though cos I find them too thick for my hands.

OK some ins today although I don't think I deserve the naughty step as they are things that I don't have in stash or aren't for me anyway:-

Bought a tube of LE Cleanse and Polish for Emma - only cleansers I have in my stash are not suitable for her young skin and she says she's not getting on with the S&G wipes that came in the tote. Then went to Boots and bought some new muslin cloths because I've had to bin some LE ones recently as they had holes in them. The SA was very :money:and convinced me to spend a fiver to get the voucher plus get involved in the 3for2 so I ended up coming away with nail lacquer remover (which I needed - see my earlier post) and a Barry M nail lacquer for Emma (hot neon pink colour that she wanted) which got me the voucher and then bought 3 packs of the cloths.

MrM treated me to a tube of L'Occitane Lavender hand cream. I now need to cut open my tube of S&G Hand Food to finish this off at home.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

ive now moved onto a tube of the sanctuary hand cream.... smells lovely!:D

I've opened a tube of this, i'm well impressed with it....

Dr R - I dont think i've ever used up an eyeshadow, i've been using same colour for last three years and I still can't see the bottom!!!

Saying that, I dont think i've ever used a nail polish up either, thrown a few as they've gone thick....

    2 uu's for me:D
Avon Sensitive Bath Foam 1L - nothing special, mum buys me loads, but nice bubbles that dont disappear, still got a few in my stash!
Asda Orange and Mango Shower Gel - again, nothing special.

Off to have a bath and PMN, might treat myself and put a colour on, first time since bump arrived :j

Hope you've all had lovely weekends
