Damn Boots - first thing I saw when I checked my email was that offer - GGrrrrr - I can't afford it though so tough!! :p At least with the BS offer I didn't notice it until it was too late - had a wierd disappointment-mixed-with-happiness feeling when I realised I'd missed it :rotfl:

Hi Sarah, nice to have you back on board. I took a big step today and unsubscribed from the Boots emails - I didn't mind the Boots.com ones but all the Treat street stuff was getting on my nerves!
I know exaccccctly what you mean too about when you miss an offer/it's sold out - it's that weird mixture of feelings!!
Had a little browse around town this afternoon and managed to get all 4 Glamour mags I wanted - so 4 IN's - the lip gloss (which is in the colour I use anyway) the Superbalm (not my usual colour but perfectly wearable) the 7 day Scrub (my mini of this has just about run out) and the moisture surge (which is a bit of an essential for me when I'm in the cold winds of the Hebrides, which I will be again in just a few more weeks - hurrah! *Squeaks a little in excitement!* :j They are sitting on the table now looking.....cute! :D Very pleased I got the ones I wanted, and not in the least tempted by any of the others!

In case she's not about later - HAPPY HOLIBOBS ROSEMARY!

    Just the FOUR then!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Out of interest, what you going to do with 4 mags.....someone on here said they were going to donate a couple to their doctors if I recall correctly...!!

Nice to have an Avon insider on board - my mum used to be an Avon rep when I was tiny. I remember we always had TONS of samples to play with, especially perfumes. I guess things are different now, it's all scratch and no sniff left by the time it gets to me....

PS - there are reports on the Boots thread that Ruby & Millie is being discontinued....may be some bargains to be had. Er, not that we would buy anything of course...
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

    Hi All,

I've another UU to report - a Dove Deodrant, I've got another one in my stash and I really like the scent. I'm going to try a Mitchums deodrant out of my stash next (not used this brand before - but read a couple of posts on the "no toiletries" threads that said it was their HG). I'm going to see if I can find this month's Glamour? mag during my lunch break tomorrow for the Clinque bits ssh don't tell anyone...

Welcome to the Newbies - and goodnight to one and all!

That's the one! Streaky and rubbish! Nails Inc never see to work for me :(

Erm, a tiny, tiny IN to report :D A sachet of Palmers Coconut Oil deep conditioning hair thingy jumped into my hands while I was waiting for my prescription (I'm a sucker for coconut things and thought I deserved a treat for going to the Doctors :rotfl:). It will be straight out tomorrow or Friday though. Promise! :A Will change my sig.

Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap blood pressure monitor from? I have to take some readings back to the surgery as apparently I'm too much of a panic-er and fidget to get a proper reading! :rotfl:

Ahh, another White Coat hypertension sufferer then - join the (quite sizeable!) club! My monitor is a Boots own brand one like THIS - it has a memory that stores readings and my Doctor is happy to accept those - I just take the base unit into the surgery and he takes the last one off the memory.

I find Mitchum very good indeed - and would go so far as to say that nowdays it's my HG deodorant.

The toothpaste gave a little splutter this morning so I guess I'll only get a few more days out of that, but have a spare in the stash as always.

Someone asked about the spare copies of Glamour - I'm going to pop one in the bag with the bits I take to the Homeless drop-in centre, and have already put one outside for the neighbours. The third was meant to go upstairs to my friend/neighbour but MrEH forgot to take it when he went up earlier! :rotfl:

Right, off for a shower and hopefully the final application of cream from the everlasting pot!

You can see why I have to use hand cream!! It's the first time I've used this colour (Nails Inc. Montpelier Square) but I have to say I really love it.

I don't normally wear metallic colours (shimmery yes), so it is quite 'blingy' but in a good way I hope :o

Love the nails, it reminded me that I have this colour too and not used yet, I also have Cadogan Square.... My DS says it looks like i have poo on the end of my fingers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I dont need to buy anything in March, so no excuses, although I will be buying a certain magazine or two tomorrow :D I like Glamour anyway and I really want to try Clinique.....

    Happy holidays Rosemary...

McCollough thank you for the postage label, I sent two boxes full!!

Going to update my stash list and signature for March :p
