I must try and resist the BS code! ARGH its so hard!

Whoever (sorry forgot who it was) was thinking of getting the AVon Vibe - I wouldn't bother, I didn't find it that great and had to have the vibe replaced 3times from Avon before I gave up and threw it out!

1 give away to friend - Jeurgens (SP?), I had 2 of the same and am not really loving it so I gave it a new home :)

    UU
BS neutraganics night cream - WIBA? probably, I actually quiet liked ahving something a bit richer for the nights.
Dove deo - WIBA? yes but only when on offer - I am now on my last deo of the stash :)
Hotel shower gel - WIBA? nope wouldn't even tea leaf it from the hotel again!

For those that do home waxing - what do you use? I'm using tesco at the minute and find it OK but would be interested in trying something else.

    Hiya lovelies!

I forgot to say, I've had a Mally Beauty Auto Delivery arrive from QVC that was ordered about 6 or 7 months ago. If I want to keep it the kids will buy it for me for Mothers Day and it will count as an "In" but not a purchase, but I might sell it on eBay if I can bear to. (The colours are really nice!)

I sent the last one (3 months ago) back but this is so lovely can't decide! :D:o:eek:

I use the Nair Easy Wax - it comes in a pot that you microwave and there are no strips - you just smooth it on with the wooden spatula then pull it off! However it has about one more application left and I have been looking in a few shops and nobody seems to stock it anymore! Annoying because it worked well for me. Next time I buy, I will definitely get the same type of wax. I have tried the waxing strips before and find them completely ineffective although my friend swears by them. I do sometimes suffer from ingrown hairs though so if someone has a solution for that I'd love to hear it.

I (think) I can resist the BS code. Just trying to stop myslf from looking. But BrandAlley have OPI stuff today. It's not the varnishes that are interesting me amazingly, it's the packs of scrub/lotions. Has anyone tried these??

Also, thevicster I forgot to tell you where I got nail gems from - I knew there was something!! I bought them from Boots a couple of years ago. I had a look last night but I couldn't see any there. I did see nail foils by a company called Pretty Woman reduced from 4.xx to 3.06. But didn't buy them - yay!! But I think it just wasn't enough of a saving for me :p

In B**ts clearance I also saw shampoos, hairsprays and things reduced, but I was so good, I saw and ignored :j They also had Leighton Denny and Mavala polishes reduced - the Mavala were half price (and had the colours featured in current H&B mag) - but again I picked up, looked over and put down :j:j

One UU - Lush Ceridwen's Cauldron -WIBA? I don't think so. It was just too weird for me.

One IN - Dad bought me Per Una bath bubbles which were reduced to £2. Not tried them yet, but I do love baths so will save me buying bubble bars from Lush once the two(?) I've got left are used up.

SJP I like the Benefit Hello Flawless - but it is a more powder-y airbrush-y look. I also use and love EL Individualist (which is now discontinued ) Decided that when I have time to use the liquid EL foundation and when late to use the Benefit as I think the EL has been open long enough (2 years :o) and would love to not have to throw it away.

Feeling so heavy-headed today (not a hangover-don't drink!), but really must not go anywhere tonight, an early night after attending to my poor feet and it's got to be PYNW.

morning all, hard to see through the fog today except for my lovely bright yellow forsythia:)

update after reading through all the posts since last night(just imagine how much talking we would do if we ever all met up:rotfl:)

re Lloyds....I do live out in the sticks...12 miles from cambridge(no Lloyds that I know of) and 10 from St ives where there is one but have never been in it(only a small one anyway)

re perfume, tried the new Givenchy(used to love G no 3 years ago but they stopped making it tho did hear it was sold at Harrods but is no longer on their wensite)Pink......very nice BUT I resisted at the airport as still have 3/4 expensive perfumes to use from stash

also re perfume,I seem to be more sensative to perfumes recently as some lilies and hyacynth flowers in the kitchen where I use the laptop seem overpowering and have given me headaches:(

re foundation thanks for info on Clinique, will look for it in Boots bonus time.

re body shop ....can I resist??????

re general, don't know anyone from Japan but a girl in the village lost her cousin in New Zealand (he had gone out for a treat lunch with his wife whilst recovering from cancer) she got out of the restauraunt but he was hit by falling maisonary. The same girl has had breast cancer and now her sister has it........definately inspires me to pink candle time.

After visiting Supercuts to book today I'm really not sure about it so think I'll give this particular branch a miss, I might try another location in the future. On my first attempt to make an appointment I found the salon to be untidy with hair not only on the floor in the salon area but also some in the front "shop" area. There was only one member of staff who was cutting a client's hair but I was not even acknowledged! I returned later there were two members of staff now but still hair in the "shop" area. I was told for a CBD on my hair the cost would be £31 but no appointments just turn up and wait. So, I'll give this a miss it seems expensive for the level of non service and as for no appointments just take a seat and wait:eek:I could be there all day.

My friend waited over three hours in Supercuts just before Christmas for her CBD and she got there for 9am!
Arggghhhh ive already said but I am defo joining this when I have the chance:rotfl: I have cupboads full of everything and like I said before my bathroom cupboard looks like the Soap and Glory shelves of Boots and I could probably go months without needing to buy anything but oh no ive just seen the 50% off code for the bodyshop and stocked up..Ive even gotta get up for work in the morning and that hasnt put me off sitting here doing it:eek::rotfl: HELP lol
Welcome xxshopaholicxx - now i'm just off to check the BS website......:o

Well you'll be all pleased to hear I avoided temptation last night with avon :D ended up turning my computer off and went to do some work in the study instead, so not only no temptation to buy anything I actually got on with some work too :p
Had the MSE email pop into my inbox this morning and I wish I hadn't of seen about that Body Shop code - but I keep telling myself there's no point seeing as I have that groupon voucher still to use.

Have statisfied my need to spend this morning by using the free credit on funkypigeon (on low spend board I think) - so got a few cards for family FOC

Bad point is I have to go to town this afternoon, go finally pick up my prescription from boots - if its still not there I will be . Also need to go get some foodstuffs seeing as Tesco is now so crap I have get half my weekly shop from town instead which means Im going to be right near to bodycare and the tempation will be HUGE, especially seeing as I need some more hair dye, but think I might try and stay away for another week or so. Its so frustrating I have this damn groupon voucher but I can't spend it, my local store is tiny and there's very little there, on top of that there is never anyone else in there and I can't be the only person in the shop, especially not with 3 shop assistants too, makes me feel so uncomfortable and like I can't just take my time browsing as they're watching my every move.....Hey ho

Oh and another note on this Tesco DTD thing...I just got a voucher for a whopping 2p! Bargain

Ive stopped being allowed to thank again girls - so please all feel thanked and hugged !!

Charlie - dont go spending it all at once... ;)

    Girls - Im there....

I had angel in my stash - my brother bought it for me hundreds of years ago - i sold it on ebay and the woman sent it back cos it had changed colour a little bit, so it got relegated to the bathroom for use in there. wasnt a massive fan of it when i was given it - and still dont like it now far too strong and sweet/sickly for my liking - im more of a fruity fresh perfume person.

no UUs today, though I have a bubble bath almost at the bottom, so in the next few days Im going to have at least one.

not sure I like clinique much - am I abnormal????
