wax strips- i actually like the avon ones but bought some in my bodyshop haul last night as they are about the same price
uu-nivea "my silhouette" gel cream -just a sample size but i still think i am doing really well since starting this challenge as i have bought less bodyshop stuff than i would off in the past, resisted avon and soap and glory things i wanted/resisted new urban decay palettes-easily £300 on stuff i wanted.
Well done ma-ri-ella, wish I had your willpower.
Couple of ins for me today, my avon order came, 1 x cashmere foundation (this was ordered in February and was out of stock so doesn't really count) and tea tree and mint shampoo, this was to replace the one I finished, didn't need it though as I have others in the stash but really like this one and it was only £1.
A uu up too, theramed (? I think this is right) toothpaste, wiba, yes when I've used up the others, don't overbuy this really but there seem to have been a lot of offers on of late to which I have succumbed. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Not annoying at all - I just look at the links on the first post in the Avon thread
The vibe is exactly the same price in brochure 7
But if you're interested in that - I've got something very similar that's been available longer and is usually cheaper. Neutrogena wave power cleanser - you can pick one of these (with 14 pads) up from ebay for less than £3 and a pack of 30 pads for £4 - £5.
Basically theyre the same thing, except the Neutrogena ones are white and pink. I quite like mine and use it to give my face a treat when I have a shower. I have quite sensitive skin but this works well for me.Whoever (sorry forgot who it was) was thinking of getting the AVon Vibe - I wouldn't bother, I didn't find it that great and had to have the vibe replaced 3times from Avon before I gave up and threw it out!
Think I'll give it a miss then - thank you ladies
I will hunt down the Avon thread for future orders - My new rep will wonder how I'm so bargain savvy :rotfl:
I've put OH's new bottle of bubble bath out today - lets see how long it lasts himHe usually has a bath every night so my guess is I'll be replacing it by next weekend :rotfl:
I'm booked in for my fish-foot-nibbling at 3.30 today - quite nervousbut I'm sure it will be fine
I will let you know how it goes!
ETA: Just ordered a Neutrogena Wave thingy on eBay - £4.99 inc delivery for the cleanser, 14 pads and an extra box of 30 pads - thanks again ladies - saved me a bundle :T:T

Talking of perfumes - there was one perfume that everyone talked about and I really had to have it....
Talked OH into buying it for me, so went to have a whiff....
It was bl**dy awful.....:eek: Apologies in advance (but I dont think i've seen it in anyones stash) Thierry Mugler - Angel...
Just goes to show not to get carried away by advertising.....
I got the cheap rip off version of Angel for my birthday but I didn't know that at the time so I got funny looks when I asked for it in a posh perfume shop >.<Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
UU for me last night - Avon colour protection shampoo - Probably WNBA as i didn't really like the smell and not sure it protected my colour.
I think the conditioner will be gone within the next week as well.
I've got about 2-3 inches left in a tresemme shampoo bottle then it will be about a year before i can declare another one as i'm left with mega huge bottles.
Got fed up of looking at the Sanctuary pumice foot scrub in the bathroom so used it instead of a body scrub last night. Just a little bit left and then that's another tube empty yay!
Have realised that i don't use much shower gel with my puffy thing as i started a bottle of body wash in December and i'm not even half way down!0 -

I use the Nair Easy Wax - it comes in a pot that you microwave and there are no strips - you just smooth it on with the wooden spatula then pull it off! However it has about one more application left and I have been looking in a few shops and nobody seems to stock it anymore! Annoying because it worked well for me. Next time I buy, I will definitely get the same type of wax. I have tried the waxing strips before and find them completely ineffective although my friend swears by them. I do sometimes suffer from ingrown hairs though so if someone has a solution for that I'd love to hear it.ma-ri-ella wrote: »re Nair Easy Wax - i think tesco sell this if i remember correctly/they defo do one that comes in tub and you heat in the microwave
.
I was wondering the same thing, I love that Nair microwave wax but it does seem to be discontinued. It's not on the Boots website. Veet have a microwave wax but that one comes with strips and I much prefer the one without strips.not sure I like clinique much - am I abnormal????

Guys, slightly off-topic, do any of you use TCB or Quidco? I'm not signed up with any cashback site, and always back down when thinking about it. Is it worth it and is it secure??
It can be on-topic as I was looking at the TCB/free LYB card deal - just for general knowledge of course. TIANo buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
