Trudij, this pampering is obviously working well on you :)
Celebrate, haha at the scary DH, naughty naughty at the pumping thevicster for information! Well done for 3 UU's. I was wondering about you over the weekend, did you manage to start on the decluttering? I suppose you are by sorting out your orders atm in readiness for returns. That's the best way to do it really, return anything unused that you are able to for a refund or credit to a gift card. At least that way, you have the money to fall back on when you next NEED to shop. Then you can start with everything else.
Absunthe fairy, I'm so pleased your friend and her Dad are safe, I hope that her other family members are safe too but if not, I hope they are together.
It was an awful shock to see it on the news and sky news has been running more footage today of the waves coming. Those poor people have seen everything washed away. A true reminder of the power of nature.
Have had a lovely pampering bath tonight. Now toasty in my dressing gown ready for tomorrow. Well, not that ready, I've just remembered that my clean jeans are at the bottom of the ironing basket waiting to be sorted. I'd better do them in a minute :(.
Thevicster, how funny that you live in Bath! Do you think that people who live in other household named places get fixated on their room in question? I don't suppose there are any others are there?

Re: magazines - I quite like reading my eldest daughter's LOOK magazine :) At least the makeup etc in there is affordable.

Think I'm going to be naughty very soon :o I've discovered that BarryM has extended their nail effects (crackle range of nail polishes) and now have pink, blue and white as well as the original black.

In my defence, they wont be for me but for my 2 teenage daughters :D

My nail varnish has started to chip today (its lasted well though cos I painted them last Wednesday) so I think I might repaint them tonight. Just got to decide which colour.............

PS. I didnt get a spam email either

Different colour crackles  Oh, I like! I want! I don't need! :rotfl:

Im liking the sound of these crackle nail varnishes - when Ive paid the stud, I may have to treat myself....

OBVIOUSLY to a colour that I dont have already, thus avoiding the naughty step...

on a lesser level - I have a dilemma ladies - I have a lad chasing me who is very keen.... Ive usually been out with younger men, and find them way more fun and less baggaged than older men or men my own age.... but at 37, should I really be seeing someone who is 25??? Its not like hes a teenager or anything - and he doesnt care at all..... (hes lovely, and looks after one of the horses running at Cheltenham tomorrow - so eeeek and keep everything crossed for him !!)

Go for it! It's not that much difference really! What's the horse running at Cheltenham called? Will have a little bet on it :)

Celebrate...that is HILARIOUS, but must have been awful scary at the time!

Just painted my toenails in 17 Smoke Signal (a very dark grey) and my fingernails in No 7 Spotlight (a clear glittery wee number). Quite enjoying this pampering!

Annoyingly, I've just remembered I have another intensive hair conditioner in my stash. Thought I could go shopping for a legitimate IN. Ach well, probably for the best. Not sure I can be trusted in Boots quite yet.

Celebrate, yes it counts! Well done!
I forgot to say earlier, mags I like to read; I like prima, good housekeeping, country living, homes and antiques and gardening mags. It's a pity I don't like to do the stuff, just read about it!
Shamefully I have a sewing machine sitting in the hallway that I don't know how to use. I will learn how to use it this year. *promise :D*

celebrate your story made me laugh like crazy!

trudij I think if you like him go for it. That's all that matters at the end of the day.

thevicster and pudseydb I blame you for the following tale:

I was meeting my best friend for dinner & we wanted tapas, so off to Bluewater. I wanted to pop into M&S to see if they had any of the Daly moisturisers left as my sister had missed out & asked me to lookout for them. And there they were. But now £2!! So got my sister 2 day & 2 night ones. Got myself one of each (but giving one to other sister). So 6 for the original price of one (£12!!).

So after dinner, my friend asks if I have the new Maybelline gel eyeliner, which I don't, B**ts is still open so we go over. I browse the eyeliners, but please note I didn't buy any. Then I wondered over to the Barry M stand (in my defense I only noticed pink signage & thought it was Bourjois). And calling my name is the crackle polish, which I've been trying to *not* find since a certain few people posted about it. And it was buy two for £5, and that alone was £3.99. So now I also have a shade of blue I definitely don't already have :o
