  • Incidentally, for stuff that people other than you use (such as toothpaste), do you count that in your stash as technically it isn't just yours?

    I like that idea!

I only count the stuff that is 'mine', my DD has bucketloads of body lotions, shampoo, conditioner, shower gels etc. If I added all her stuff to the list it would be a mile long. That said she works on the principle that what's mine is her's and what's her's is her own ;) - so she does help towards my UU's :rotfl:

trudij - I'm with the other girls - go for it ;)

Absinthe Fairy - great news about your friend and her dad - will keep everything crossed she finds her family :(

celebrate - :rotfl: at your story

My hair is done :D It was a (very old) Live Colour I had at the bottom of the drawer - in Violet. It's not completely dry but looks aubergine  :p It'll grow on me :D

I'm wearing the 'socks'. I opened the sachet and it just looked ike two HUGE plastic booties - but when you opened them to put your feet in there's an inner liner which has the lotion on. There are massive on me - I have size 5 feet and these would easily fit an 8 - so I've put a pair of trainer sock s on over the top. You couldn't sleep in them (well I couldn't) 'cos the plastic rustling would drive me nuts :rotfl: but I reckon I could reuse them by squirting some lotion into the liner - I'll give it a go and report back :D

One UU - Hello Kitty Cherry Body Butter: was a 50ml tin but I've been using it day and night as it was a bit more 'lotion-y' than 'butter-y' :D WIBA? Yeah - probably. I smell like a sweet shop but it's fun :p Next is my S&G mini and then a full size No7 - and if there's any HK left in £land then I'll pick one up (but not 'til then - guides honour) :D

:rotfl: I daren't look into any more of my DD's 'cosmetic' drawers - yes drawers! and she's only here once/twice a week  We still have 4 or 5 to go through (even after our big sort out at the weekend). However, she has more expensive tastes than me (and a rich step-father to pay for it - more fool him) so she tends to just 'freshen up' here and go home to use all her own (far too expensive for a 16yo) stuff .... bitter Moi? :p Nah - just wish she'd offload some of the 'good stuff' my way :rotfl: :rotfl:

Uses my face wipes though - which is why I stocked up on the 3for2/5for4 Boots Cucumber wipes. Does anyone know if that offer/glitch is still on? I've got a house of teenage girls this friday/sat and along with eating us out of house and home they'll use all the toothpaste and face wipes  so I may stock up if I pass Boots again. :rotfl:

Talking of which (face wipes) - OH met DD after work today and she asked him if he was going to shave his beard off for the weekend (it's a big suprise 16th birthday party for her best friend) because 'it makes you look like a hobo'. He said to her 'well with the amount of mascara and eyeliner you're wearing you look like half a hobo'. She goes 'whu? -that doesn't make sense - whatdya mean?' So he said 'half a hobo - a ho' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Bless 'em :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • evening ladies,
following Inapickle's :T:T:T:Tbrilliant suggestion (thanks for the p.m pickle) to start a graduate list I have updated the first post to include this, with position number one going to the lovely mineallmine.

If anyone else needs added to the list during this month can I ask you all to give me a Big Nudgeand remind me to add them as I can be something of a sieve-head sometimes :o !

(It will be years before my name gets to be on that list :rotfl:)

celebrate your story made me laugh like crazy!

trudij I think if you like him go for it. That's all that matters at the end of the day.

thevicster and pudseydb I blame you for the following tale:

I was meeting my best friend for dinner & we wanted tapas, so off to Bluewater. I wanted to pop into M&S to see if they had any of the Daly moisturisers left as my sister had missed out & asked me to lookout for them. And there they were. But now £2!! So got my sister 2 day & 2 night ones. Got myself one of each (but giving one to other sister). So 6 for the original price of one (£12!!).

So after dinner, my friend asks if I have the new Maybelline gel eyeliner, which I don't, B**ts is still open so we go over. I browse the eyeliners, but please note I didn't buy any. Then I wondered over to the Barry M stand (in my defense I only noticed pink signage & thought it was Bourjois). And calling my name is the crackle polish, which I've been trying to *not* find since a certain few people posted about it. And it was buy two for £5, and that alone was £3.99. So now I also have a shade of blue I definitely don't already have :o

I can only hang my head in shame :rotfl::cool: Hope you enjoy! Blue and crackle coat looks great together! I have it on my toes! Might do gold and crackle for Gold Cup day on Friday :rotfl:

My god, I don't have half the amount of stuff you have xD

I thought having 5 bottles of shower gel was extravangant... I have no hair products apart from loads of hairspray and I never wear any sort of perfume and I now only have 3 nail varnishes.
