Some one help,
I am new to this stuff and I have been looking around fr a while now and still can’t find a really cheap way to call Pakistan on the weekends.
I got my self a T-Mobile contract phone so that I could use the 07744 numbers to call Pakistan, but then I found that they do not work on the weekends!!
Was absolutely gutted!
Can any one help?
Please

Sorry Maz................
I'm still trying to reach Jamaica......:mad:0 -
To get your costs down as far as possible, do the following....
1) Ask customer services to run a tarif health check. It will reccomend most suitable plan
2) Add international option. £2.50 a month inc vat. Reduces calls to Jamaica from £1.30per min to 80p per min.
3) Buy international calling bundles. £7.50 for 50 mins bundle for calling India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nigeria, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago.
See this page for more info on 2 & 3 above...

Look international call checker for Jamaica Mobile.
Find a few 0871 numbers.
These are going to cost you 10p from your T-Mobile and Landline. regardless of time/day. (This is lot cheaper than TMOb's international bundle)
I am sorry but there isnt a Free trick for any network for Jamaica Mobile.
No 07744, no 0870, no 0844.....
or if a card offers more than 50 minutes for 5 pound card then go for that.....

There are many providers who offer 07744 bumbers which work in the evenings as well for Pak. Here is one of them.
http://linkstochina.com/RingChina/free-mobile-international-call.shtml#destinations
It allows 24 hrs calls from Mon-Fri and the number is 07744988 888. I am not sure if I am allowed to post numbers on the forum but appologies if i am wrongI wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -

No 07744 number works on weekends for Pakistan.
Only 0844 numbers (Included in Free minutes) on O2 work on Weekends.
You will better off taking up an O2 contract for these calls.0 -

If I am not wrong, OP only asked about the number for weekends.
NOT on evenings.
Would be better if you remove the number and website to stop further people posting more websites/numbers.

Will take on board what you all have said.:T
At present I am buying phonecards which costs me £5 each time. It says it gives me 150 minutes (but last time I used it on one call it gave me (120 mins which is quite good). However, I have noticed nowadays that I am not getting my full minutes and with these cards you have to use it in one go in order to get the full minutes.
Another thing I have noticed is that each time a new call is made with the same card, it gives you less minutes.
However, when the card finishes I find myself on the landline  using an 0871 number which costs 10p a minute. Still good - but when the monthly bill comes, it does add up.:eek:0 -
Can I ask you a very silly question, MissP?
Do you really have to call on your mobile. You do realise that you can call from a landline using eg the 1899.com service for 9p/min. So why, when you've got massive bills, are you restricting yourself with the mobile scenario?
(I'm sure you've got a perfectly reasonable reason!)
- oops - the International Call Checker is showing 2p per minute for one of the options - that's good ![ Eat, Drink and be Merry - for tomorrow we get the bill ]0 -
