Free international calls with TMobile - is this true?

Started my own thread this time because you guys need to sort me out pronto!

Is it possible to get free international calls with my TMobile free minutes? I have free calls from 7pm to 7am weekday and all weekend. Paying too much for calls although I do buy phone cards. Spending at least £100 per month for bills. :eek: Partner resides in Jamaica :beer: - you know, rum punch, hot sun, Bob Marley etc As I said before in my other thread....... either the bill goes down or the boyfriend will have to go ...........

Any ideas?

The boyfriend goes.....unless you get an O2 contract that will offer 0845/0870 etc numbers within their inclusive calls.

By dialling their geographical access number from your free minutes.You could speak to Jamaica Landlines 3p a minute,(5p connection).

Do you have a BT Landline as i could tell you a very very cheap way of calling Jamaica.

07744 are included as part of your cross network allowance on T-Mobile and Orange. Use this website's call checker.

But you do need inclusive x-net minutes on your T-Mob contract to use 07744 access numbers.Its not clear if the op has got offpeak x-net minutes,or own network ones.

Rang TMobile and was told that making 07744 numbers would be "free" if used in my free minutes. FANTASTIC I thought :j

Went on MSE International CallChecker and found approprite details:money:

BUT after checking all providers with 07744 numbers, NOT ONE of them does free calls to a Jamaica mobile during the evenings or weekends::mad:

WHAT DO I DO NOW????

Can having free evenings and weekend calls with TalkTalk landline help me in any way??

Guess a 'Dear John' letter will have to be sent.............

Surely you could change your contract to one involving daytime calls, for rather less than £100 a month. If it's still under cashback terms, maybe take out another one ...

Could you just make the international calls from your landline, using the cheapest ove-ride provider such as 18185? Check back to international call checker for best deals etc. Plus change your tariff if possible, as redux recommends.

You frequently pay much more for calling from mobiles when calling overseas.

Could be the way to keep him.
