    fair enough

It seems it 'might' be registry based

    Download CCLEANER
    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/slim
Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

    Download GLARY UTILITIES
    http://www.glaryutilities.com/download/gusetup_slim.exe
REBOOT then run the ONE CLICK scan
Goto MODULES / SYSTEM TOOLS / WINDOWS STANDARD TOOLS / then run SYSTEM FILE CHECKER

Reboot and try combofix one last time

    Thanks aliEnRIK- I'm back!

Had a break from it since yesterday!

Anyway so I ran cccleaner and glary utilities as above, rebooted ran combofix exactly the same thing again, got to completed stage 50 then got blue screen again! Tried it once more for luck!! same again!

Everything seems to be ok still?

I'm also a bit concerned as last week I bought more memory to add to the pc but feel more wary of doing it now after all this happening!

Adding more memory shouldn't make any difference should it as that's hardware so separate?? Isnt it?

    Just one more thing! ;)

These are the error messages/codes I get after it reboots and the "microsoft windows has recovered from a serious error" message:

Means nothing to me but I was just wondering do they give any indication of why the blue screen thing happens?
