nicki~~can you get something on wheels to take your books out, small suitcase or a trolly, ask on freecycle and see.

I have a shopping trolley already which I was going to use but I thought "Nah, it'll be fine, 30 books don't weigh that much"...it was when I came back and got another 20 and those books bounced against my thigh as they were lighter that the aching started :rotfl: My back regularly aches though so I'm used to just working through it. Next time I'll take DD to help ;):rotfl:I dread to think how bad it'll be when I loose some weight and have less padding :rotfl::rotfl:
Over where? lol I only really went on there as I was looking for tips on moving house with the least stress possible, then got sucked in lol
Try this link: http://organizedhome.com/get-organized/moving-on-tips-organized-move I highly recommend the website to anyone who wants more specific lists for specific jobs (they do a "grand plan" which is a whole house deep clean over a number of weeks ;)). I used this when I moved house and it was so organised and easy even with a toddler helping and my entire family involved (IF YOUR READING THIS MUM : no offence, but that saying many hands make light work doesn't always apply in these situations, more like too many cooks spoil the broth but I remember it going swimmingly well :D)

I still haven't tackled my accounts...got side tracked by sorting through bookmarks & ebay. Was buying some little carrier bags for DD to use as party bags. Even with P&P it worked out cheaper than buying proper party bags :D Plus I'll have spares ;)

Off to juggle some more washing (towels I didn't get done last week). It seems to be never ending in this house :(

    Evening all.

Got two loads of washing dry on the line today. DS and GF came for lunch and stayed for the afternoon and we played cards. They live over 3 hours drive away so we don't see them all that often, so it was nice.

Otherwise, generally tidied round, vacuumed, cooked, washed up etc.

Whole house is vaguely tidy with the exception of the main bedroom which is a complete tip. Lots of washing done, major mount ironmore to conquer tomorrow.

onestep we have had a low week too, but I can't find them anywhere. They must have found somewhere new to lay, must watch out tomorrow to see where they are going.

Just lit another candle for Diva. The link is http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=msd if anyone else wants to light one.

Thank for that hun, this will be the 3rd move in less than a year, I moved 3 times in less than a year in 2004 too, although these last 3 times were not my choice! but I am determined for this to go much smoother than all the previous times!

haven't done much flying today - the article I wrote on how ME has affected all our lives has left me feeling a bit down and fragile.

Just had a nice bath - off to watch CSI New York with DD2 soon....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
