Rhys managed to sleep through the night so hopefully he's over whatever it was. Me and hubby didn't manage much sleep as he's in the middle of a relapse (i did warn him it would happen) so he's the head shaved and went to the A&E last night but it was closed. So he seen the out of hours doctor who told him to go home and clean his cuts.

Today will be spent just getting through it, the kids won't be going to sunday school because i slept in but they don't mind. Think i'll let hubby sleep for as long as he needs and i'll just keep my head down.

First thing is to get the kitchen table cleared, school uniform washed and ready for tomorrow. Headache back now along with my cheek being sore again so i'll take some tablets and hopefully it will ease.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Need some ideas please... lots of people coming over for pancake day (around 10), so I need to prepare.

Pudding isn't an issue - lemon & sugar, maple syrup, golden syrup, bananas, chocolate sauce, chestnut puree, mascarpone etc.

But I usually do savoury pancakes as a main course - things I can bung in the oven on the day to bake. I've got lots of prawns in the freezer, and frozen spinach and cream cheese... I have vegetarians, non-fish eaters, fussy people and omnivores coming along...

And cleaned out the bowl in the sink, someone had left a greasy frying pan sitting in the water last night, so there was a nice big ring of grease round the inside OCD OCD OCD:o
