I have been lurking on this thread for a couple of weeks but proud to say this week I have been flying :)
Thank you very very much, I've been trying to get organised for ages. I am worried that you have been peeking through my windows as your tasks this week have been very relevant to me :)

I wouldn't even class this as a favour, just basic good manners.

yeah I know. Thing is he *might* start finding there is not space to park outside here from time to time.;) and I might well complain (not anonymously) to the company about him (a) making a nuisance of himself with the lorry and (b) not moving it when he was asked to, nicely, once. Because if they start getting flack they may well rethink their system.

Had a marvellous sale on e bay - was bobbing aroung earlier at about a fiver...got a message - would I take a tenner and end the auction - messaged back saying, as it was so close to the end I'd let it run. Went up to £19 then got sniped up to £47 at the end:eek::eek::eek:
and the item in question, electrical was advertised as having some damge and being untested:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

so glad I didn't take the tenner;)

  • Good Evening, hope everyone is enjoying your weekend.

There has been no flying here today, as Im still crashed out on the couch. I couldn't persuade the kids that they wanted to help out and tidy their bedrooms but I've decide to take a firm stance on this (well at least till next week :o) and not do it for them.

So My list current looks as follows:

    HHI
    S&S Kitchen and Bathroom
    DO Mr S shop online
    Run Hoover over downstairs.
    HHE
Put pictures up in back sitting room and DD's room
    look for bedside lamps online.

OH is upstairs putting drawers together in our room, so that should keep him busy for a few hours, if I'm lucky so :D

Has everyone got their ingredimentos for Shrove Tuesday? Or are there no fellow !!!!!! out there?!
*Doesn't even know when Shrove Tuesday is*

    Just catching up with Fred.....

Piggers  Excellent news re the jolly old debt. Very well done; onward and upward - you'll feel like a million dollars once the loans and mortgage are gone as well.

Shysarah I'm so glad work was good. See, I knew you'd be fine.;)

We've got a couple of jobs done off the "Toots" list; :Tstuff that would've been difficult for me on my own, not so much because the jobs themselves were strenuous, but because they involved being out in the garden.

Down side is that I keep finding more jobs to add onto the Toots list......

Get-well vibes for all those with colds or other ailments, and for loved-ones who are not as well as they'd like.

so far I have 18/24 eBay sales so a good week for getting stuff away - will be wrapping tonight and tomorrow so that I can get them all posted on Monday.

Was at the cathedral this morning making up the monthly magazine and helping at the monthly community lunch this morning and then had 2 hour session with Celia. managed to put out a washing on the line before I went out this morning so that is all in and folded.

better check what else needs doing as well.
