Dw on and 2 kids fed, there now playing in the livingroom. Boys still sleeping so i'll wait until there up before hunting for school uniform. :D

Right best spend an hour in the kitchen.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    So tempting.... :p

Need to go to the supermarket :( as I need to get eggs for the pancakes, so will get some other bits and pieces but want to try to use as much as possible from the freezer(s).

Oh well, better get myself dressed and out of the door as I'm meeting a friend for a walk (ooh... just remembered, I can go to the supermarket on the way back from hers...)

haven't done much flying today - the article I wrote on how ME has affected all our lives has left me feeling a bit down and fragile.

Lots of (((hugs)) CY - that would have taken a lot out of you. But the article will help so many people feel less isolated and alone with what they are coping with, and the loss for the whole family not just the individual.

I've been awol this week and done virtually no HW. But, my house gets away with it for a week since i started following this thread. Just been busy with other things, including the wonderfull wedding of an MSE friend I met on here.
I'm also radically changing my diet so needed my time to go into that.

What this thread has really helped me with, it to understand and see what the jobs are that need doing in a house: I always felt a bit clueless before. But seeing it all broken done really really has made a difference. So thanks:T
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

But I usually do savoury pancakes as a main course - things I can bung in the oven on the day to bake. I've got lots of prawns in the freezer, and frozen spinach and cream cheese... I have vegetarians, non-fish eaters, fussy people and omnivores coming along...

DS1 used to like a filling of cream cheese mixed with chopped ham and some sweetcorn and seasoning. We rolled them up, topped with grated cheese and baked/grilled to finish.

I had lots of good intentions for this weekend (DH is away until tomorrow), but have spent the last two evenings listening to music clips on youtube for much longer than I'd planned. Also had a glass of a gorgeous red last night and feel slightly fragile. :o

However, I'm pleased with other things. The hotspots I cleared over half-term are still clear. I tidy and wash up after every meal now and have not done too badly with the dailies. Yesterday morning I did a HHC in the bathroom and most of the clothes are gone from the LR (another HHC there).

My list for today is longer than I'd hoped, but needs must.

    breakfast
    bath
dailies (hoover in LR, tidy in kitchen, empty DW when done)
laundry (TD and WM on already, 1 more load to do)
HHI - uniform and work stuff
go out with DS2 (cat treats and a few bits from Mr A/take plastic recycling, deliver stuff to friends', use world book day token which we forgot yesterday :( - don't know whether to go to M'hell or town)
DS2's HW and my work - lots of it, so I'd better get moving.

NN's son has started e-baying for me :j (we'll split profits) - 3 things listed and I'll take a few more round today. Must remember to buy some brown paper for wrapping.

Hugs to LL, LW, Jue, vanilla, toots and anyone else who'd like one. Hoping that anyone having a rough time at the moment soon get through it. x

Well before I start working my way through todays list I would just like to say a big thank you to PigPen toot and all those at Fly lady central for all your hard work. As the daily list has really help me keep on top of the cleaning and also given me a way of breaking things down into small steps to ensure that I am pacing myself properly.

    Right today I need to
    HHI( as uniforms need doing)
    S&S Kitchen and bathroom
    Hoover through downstairs
Sort clothes into new drawers once OH has finished putting them together.

But first the important stuff a coffee and a cuddle with the dogbot on the couch.

Happy flying everyone and hugs to all who need them
