    Hi all

I'm up a little bit earlier today to get a few things done this morning before I go to work! Hopefully freeing me up a little bit tonight to do some exercise  but it's a must!

Helen - I agree, read the actual report. I've spent lots of time looking at these recently and will continue to do so but have found that looking at two reports with the same score, they are never the same things in the school that got them that result.

Things like staffing issues and management issues are also included in the schools score, which could have an impact on the rating. But the actual education of children/ resources etc could score well.

Anyway, am off to prepare a veg curry to put in the slow cooker... I have potatoes need using up along with some miserable looking mushrooms. I've got lots of other bits can go in too so will give it a whirl. If it doesn't turn out well I know not to try it again :rotfl:

Pigpen- did all children make it through the night in tact?? Did your sanity? Xx

Welcome to all the newbies!!! Well done for joining us and good luck!!

When you start to get disheartened - don't give up! Grab a timer and do just 15 mins. It's 15 mins more than you would have done otherwise! You'll notice the results!!

hello all, I wonder if you have room for another 'newbie'?
I am preggers with #4, due summer, and have been suffering immensly with lbp and feeling quite dizzy as a result. Despite this, with the help of my wonderful older children, I have managed to keep on top of most things but the half term last week threw me slightly. I have an amazing pile of washing to get through although I had actually got on top of it before leaving at the start of the week. Where I would have made a good effort to get through it over the last few days, I have been quite ill and also ran out of washing stuffs so now that I have been paid (although i am still ill..) I am determined to make the clothes a priority.
My kitchen has also been neglected somewhat but I did try and do a dishwasher load yesterday which helped before i ended up using every single plate again! (and cup. and bowl... I don't actually have enough to go around but If I have lots, they get used and not washed so I have made a promise that as things break, they only get replaced if absolutely necessary until i have some more order in my life and finish decorating. lol)

I am back at work today (I only work four days a week but the Mondays go faster than i would like usually. being ill has only made it worse) and I need to get back on top of where I was before. I rarely make it to level two but I have managed over the holidays to completely de clutter the children's room which was a necessary task due to the fact my two bedroom flat will soon be housing four children as well as myself and hubby and I don't really want to leave this place for as long as possible so i need to make it workable living here.

I am sticking with simple tasks for the time being until i am back on top and my list is really quite simple.

    [STRIKE]
clear the kitchen worktops (washing dishes, put sauces back in cupboards fridge etc and ending up with a shiny sink)
    [/STRIKE]
wash at least one load of laundry per day.
put away at least one load of laundry per day (this is often where i 'fall down') This is currently on track. Two loads washed (second load airing) and third load will be readyto take out of the machine when i return home from work. :)
pre plan a meal enough to cook and feed the kids a hot meal (on budget) on return from school/nursery. Again, on track. Been using up all the cupboard ingredients and items from fridge including left overs. No one has complained yet. :)

I think the children's tasks this week are simply to remove their own items from the lounge and clear out the cat litter. DH has been working nights for our business on top of his day job so he is let off for now seeing as he gets home in time for bed and sleep!

Adding a few simple tasks seeing as I am staying on track and then some. Didn't actually expect to make it this far but again, my wonderful girls have been a Godsend and they were the ones who sorted the piles of washing for me that has saved me a huge job and also enabled me to unpack the suitacase so aside from the current washload in, I have two more loads to do.

wipe fronts of cupboards down in Kitchen.
    clean cooker
wipe all surfaces in bathroom. (bit more than swish and swipe as the hard water does build up a lot of stuff I would like to get rid of)

If I manage to get all that done, I will treat myself (and the children) to a swim session at the weekend seeing as we are booked up over the next THREE weeks when we'd normally go.

Anyway, I will come back to edit this list further as I am able to cross things off and good luck to all the fly-ers out there.

    Morning everyone.

DH is poorly. His throat has bunches of grapes around the windpipe but he refuses to go to the doctor. He's snored really loudly all night so I feel shattered.

Getting my hair done today, my friend is coming here to do it. Can't decide if I should get blonder for spring (hopefull) or go more caramel/golden.

Right must make packed lunches.... back to check up on the lists later
