helen_jelly wrote: »My kiddies school has just been OFSTEDed and according to my daughter is got Satisfactory - am I right in thinking that this is 1 up from poor - last time they got Good - going tomorrow to have a look at another school for DS [DD has only got till July and then she finishes there]
I wonder how many people realise that the OFSTED inspection criteria changed last year and what was good under the old system would now be judged as satisfactory. It's very likely that nothing much has changed at the school and if you have no complaints (and your children are happy there), then why change? You could wait a few weeks for the inspection report to be published to parents so that you can see the reason for the judgement, as well as the action plan for the school. A judgment of satisfactory doesn't mean that the school is close to being poor - it may have narrowly missed the 'good' category. OK - best get off my soap box now. I hope I've not offended you.
Not too bad today - home just after 5pm after a quick stop-off at the vet's for some worming tablet for Small Cat (which were ground and mixed with her food). Fed cat, fed DSs, strained chicken stock in SC and put bits of chicken in a bowl for tomorrow. Hoovered LR, emptied and re-loaded DW, WM on, washed pans, wiped clear work surface and hob, fed DH and myself and gave him and friend a lift to club. Spent a bit of time with DS2 before getting him ready for bed. I'd hoped to do a HHC in the kitchen as well as a HHI and some work, but I don't know where the time went. Just going to make a cuppa and going to bed.
Hugs, spoons and sticks all around. x0 -

Guys can I join please, I need motivation and at least another 3 hours in a day!
Currently the housework (which used to be top of my list) is slipping further down it, I am married with 3 boys (18, 16 and 13) currently at college and going to Uni in September for a complete career change, so need to get a handle on this before it gets worse. I have to fit the gym in 4/5 times a week too.....And am carer for my mum so have ti fit 2/3 hours a day in there.
Hi; BTW.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.
